Epilogue

Six months passed and there I was, still living in the mountain regions. I had taken up the hobby of wingsuiting, which was a complete rush. As I took to the skies, I thought of her. I could see her flying right beside me as we soared in the bright blue sky together. A yearning started to build in my heart as I flew. A strong desire to want to go see her again. I missed her dearly. She was in fact the bestest friend that I had ever met. I couldn't afford to be alone anymore.

After returning home, it was evening. I sat on the couch and looked at all the pictures of us together...the moment we took our first mountain trip...the moment we went whitewater rafting...and the moment after she took her first flight. The desire grew and grew. I couldn't take it anymore. I closed the album, grabbed a jacket and my car keys. It was time for me to go. All that stood in front of me was the night and...11.
