Type_Writer

Self-taught writer from Las Vegas, Nevada. I have no idea what I'm doing, but it seems to be working out okay so far. (Enjoying my writing? How about a tip? https://ko-fi.com/type_writer )

Starlight and Trixie don't get to talk a lot; Trixie's always traveling, and Starlight's always busy with her mentor, Twilight. And for the most part that's okay, because Trixie can catch up with Starlight whenever she comes back into town. Maybe it's a while between her stops in Ponyville, but that's okay, she doesn't really like the town all that much anyways. And the last time she tried to bring Starlight with her on a tour, there were a lot of problems.

But it's okay. Because Trixie has been thinking. She's had a lot of time to think, because there's not much else to do out on the road. Mostly about how to solve those problems.

I'm always looking for more Trixie/Starlight shenanigans myself. Give it a while for the authors to get the romance out of their system and you may get lucky in finding more adventurous type stuff.

But this was still cute and gets my like.

This story was nice. I liked it. Doesn't get much more complicated than that.

Ooooh, I haven't! I'll check that one out in a bit!

Starlight, don't think! Just go with Trixie!

Trixie grinned. “ There we go! Whatcha think? Snuggling up on those cold nights on the roadside, listening to the wind rattle the rooftops as the hammock gently sways from side to side...or maybe sways a bit more actively… ”

So you're saying the episode wouldn't have been such a disaster for them if an M rating was allowed and they could work out their 'frustrations' directly? Because I can believe it

- Twilight's Castle is absolutely an eldritch location that rearranges itself by its own whims, and I'm tinkering with another story about the map table specifically.

you like this then

Trixie is...I don't actually have a lot about Trixie, except that she still kind of hates Twilight
i wouldn't say hates more like a mutual dislike, it more like there both friend of a friend

lovely fic, kinda wished it ended with them leaving the mess and making twilight clean it up but trixie had it rigged with magic to keep randomly changing to frustrate twilight :rainbowlaugh:

This was fun as hell, and I desperately want to see more! Sure, it might be anthology works, but damn if those aren't fun quick reads with a few cookies and a tall glass of milk!

This was a fun read! Great characterization. A nice mix of funny and sweet moments. I especially like Trixie's boldness in suggesting the swaying hammock. :raritywink: Really relate to Trixie's (and your) feelings of wanderlust, especially wanting to do it with someone else.

In regards to your author's note... That is an excellent song choice for Trixie. Definitely adding to my playlist. I feel you on missing a longer-form StarTrix story on this site. I have two longer StarTrix stories in terms of wordcount (15K and 20K), but they are both self-contained (and Mature/Sex). Maybe I will write a StarTrix vagabond adventure after... *squints at list*... all the other projects I'm juggling, lol.

Have a fave!

Ooooh, "vagabond" is a good term for Trixie in general, heh. Gonna remember that if I ever end up writing that story. And thank you! Especially glad to see someone appreciates the musical choice—I put a lot of thought into that, and always do for my Hollow Pony chapters, but I do fear that it's usually kind of lost since I can't just link to the songs.

I'll take a look at your stories soon, too! These look right up my alley, heh.

Fun idea.

(Personally, I've never liked the notion of Starlight ending up as a school administrator: in paranoid moments, I suspect it's a diabolical plot by Twilight to make sure she never has the time to do serious magical R&D again. )

Heh, I can see that. I do feel as though being a School Counselor kind of fits her, but like Trixie says, she's way too young, even with my "slightly-more-mature" Starlight. In twenty or so years, yeah, that would fit her a lot better.

New headcanon for this story: since the castle rearranges itself, and it is the castle of friendship, it knew what Trixie was planning for Starlight and that is why it let her out easily. The castle itself ships them! Also when Twi saw Trixie cramming everything back in without organizing it, she tried to rush out to intervene and the castle trolled her by trapping her in.
