This story is a sequel to Equestria Girls: The Mare-Do-Well Returns
A star fell from the sky, and the star was a starfish, and the starfish was Starro the Conqueror. With every hero and villain under the star conqueror's sway, the CHS eight must fight not just Starro and his herald, The Faceless Hunter, but also their friends and allies. To combat the star conqueror, Sunset and the others must forge alliances with those who they have previously fought against and some forgotten heroes. It seems that the fate of the whole world may lay in the hands of a mysterious girl called Gali. Who is she? And Where did she come from?

Not much I can say other than excellent job on the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I can certainly understand the girls enjoying a beautiful day, but honestly Sunset, do NOT say things like "Nothing could go wrong on a day like this.". That's what's commonly referred to as Tempting Fate. Still I definitely respected the show of just how big a threat Starro is during the takeover of Xander. Have to admit, it should be interesting seeing the girls working with Hal and Richard Ryder against Starro and that mind-controlled army. And now we have an extra-terrestrial amnesiac arriving on Earth.
Anyway, very certainly looking forward to more of this story.

(complete with the reflection on the reinstating of several international groups, including [but not limited to] S.H.I.E.L.D., the D.E.O., Checkmate, Alpha Flight, Excalibur and the Justice Force International over the past year) and checking back up on Richard was additional welcome details.

Excellent work on the action, exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places. Greatly loved Richard and Hal's teamwork against Appa Ali Apsa as well as Hal having a good point about how desperate the situation is (enough for him to get a power ring back as well as ally with Lobo, Death's Head, Titus and Blackfire (as well as the reasons none of those four were under Starro's control). And, yeah, Lobo and Death's Head both planning to double cross each other after Starro is defeated is expected, but a great detail. And, yeah, the Rainbooms and their friends getting ready for summer vacation is great additional set-up for the adventure they are about to embark on.
Definitely looking forward to more of this.

Agents getting overtaken by Starro's forces is a good way to make it clear that the girls are going to be in for a really rough battle. Definitely felt for the girls when they found out about Starro's invasion and that they could only get A LITTLE help (hopefully the force fields of their rings [all of them except for Pinkie have power rings] can protect them from getting possessed by Starro as long as they are on full alert). And that bit with how they easily overtook Magneto and Polaris after they only had a chance to put up A LITTLE bit of a fight was also good set-up. As was Hal and Richard's dialogue with Lobo and Death's Head as they were arriving on Earth.

Also really liked the chat with Machine Man (particularly the rather logical trigger book for the "emergency base" and the fact they were able to get at least a few more allies before Starro and his forces were able to get to them. And now they are going to be splitting up into smaller groups to go look for even more allies. I could also see the bit with Richard and Hal regretting bringing Lobo in on this, even if they DO need the help.

Again, great job on the characterizations, exchanges and future chapter set-up here. Greatly enjoyed the scenes with the girls rounding up some more help (especially with such obscure characters; not counting the Ted Kord Blue Beetle and Logan, who are the two least obscure heroes in this chapter, but still quite welcome). Particularly liked Combo Man keeping one old packet of his original power source food just in case (hopefully, there is still a grain left in that packet that some of the super-geniuses and magic type can use to figure out how to duplicate the original formula after this adventure is over).
A possible idea for the end of a future adventure (probably the last adventure after the gang graduates from high school but before the gang heads off for college):
1. Following the successful wrap-up of the adventure in question (probably involving Hydra and/or Kobra), there could be a significant portion of the Champions (as well as the Mare-Do-Well and her friends) all talking at the back of an airplane, when Muffins accidentally opens the bomb bay doors and a bunch of scenes with the gang using their assorted gifts to save themselves from the free-fall (kind of based on the end credits scene from the DuckTales series finale):
Such as Twilight working her way down to catch Spike and using her power ring to save them both, a tender moment between Flash and Sunset before they both use their rings to save themselves and some of their friends, the Mare-Do-Well's friends - reminding her that she can use her cape like a parachute, Midnight using her power ring to catch some of her friends, Rainbow Dash ponying up and saving a few of her friends, Pinkie Pie moonwalking in free-fall (what can I say? She's Pinkie Pie) before joining in a "ring" with Applejack, Rarity and Fluttershy before all three of the latter save themselves and Pinkie with their power rings)
But anyway, certainly looking forward to more of this.

Can definitely understand Wanda and Pietro's issues with Magneto, even with the argument that the heroes need all the help they can get. And also liked how the group was able to get a couple new members (though I hope Sunspot does NOT have to go up against any Kryptonians or Birdman [as they are solar-powered, Sunspot's powers would probably not do anything except make them stronger]). As well as the admission that they were still working on the plan of attack before Uatu showed up to give them a helpful clue and the stuff about Gali. Of course, the dialogue between Metron and Uatu at the end makes sense as well.
Anyway, certainly looking forward to more of this.

Again, really good job on the exchanges, characterizations, action and epilogue set-up in all the right places. Definitely appreciated the point on tabling the discussion of the team name and battle cry until after this mess has been resolved (and, in all fairness to Richard, the good battle cries HAVE all already been taken). But more over, I also loved the work that went into the fights with Starro and the Faceless Hunter, as well as Gali and Sunset saving Magneto while Hal and Richard were taking the Faceless Hunter into custody.
And, speaking of the multiverse, maybe a future story (not necessarily the very next one, but still a possible future story) could have Thanos working to recover the Infinity Stones from other dimensions (the stones being sent into other universes for better security AND because the stones are powerless in universes other than their native one). One stone is in the main Equestria, another is in the Mirror Equestria from the IDW comics, a third is on Foenum, the fourth is in Cuphead's home universe, the fifth is on Mobius and the sixth and final one is in the Mushroom Kingdom. Naturally, the Justice Force and the Champions have to combine their technological and magical resources to travel to these other universes and team up with the local heroes of each universe to stop Thanos's forces from retrieving the stones. But, of course, I respect your right to NOT do that if you don't want to.
At any rate, very certainly looking forward to the epilogue AND the next story in the series (whatever it might be).

Definitely appreciated the check-ups on everybody who helped stop Starro as well as the punishments for Starro himself and the Faceless Hunter. Also glad that Galactus was able to find something to satisfy his hunger without him having to destroy planets AND the girls were able to get through to Magneto so well AND the inclusion of the other four Green Lanterns of Earth. Of course, the foreshadowing with the Dazzlings and Psycho Pirate was also very well done.
