Hey guys... I'm back, and hopefully better than ever. I just liked this idea for a story, and haven't seen it done on here(to my knowledge), so I decided to make it. I'm not sure how frequently I will update, because of school starting up soon, but I hope to get more out as soon as I can.
Somewhat spoiler-ish: The character tags don't feature all the characters in the story, as there will be many, just the most prominent ones I felt needed to be there.

Nice start. Simple, but effective. I always appreciate a good psychopomp story, and this one is well on its way towards being so. Consider it tracked.
I don't know why, but the cover image just made me think of Fluttershy as Kira in Death Note, with Discord acting as her God of Death as she bends the world to the will of her own brand of justice.

"Psychopomp" isn't so much a trope as it is a character role. In this case, a guide to the afterlife.
This reminds me of another story where Fluttershy becomes Death, called The Cold Hand of Mercy. I read it waaaaay back when I first entered the fandom. Looks like it's been removed from FimFiction, but it's still up on Equestria Daily.
I loved the way you have Fluttershy interacting with Death. That part is quite unlike their interaction in Cold Hand, but reminds me of another great story, wherein Twilight challenges Death to A Nice Game of Chess.
Similar to two of my favorites, and cleanly written with a nice beginning. I have high hopes for this one.

I should check those out. The second is absolutely taking inspiration from The Seventh Seal, which has a classic iteration of the character of Death and slightly inspired this story.

Yeah, nope. Never even heard of The Cold Hand of Mercy.
Anyways, The Seventh Seal is a 1957 Swedish film, it's a classic and considered to have the best interpretation of death, and was the launching point for me thinking about this story, though it is a very different death than from what ended up in my finalized chapter. But if you wanna watch it you can probably find it on Youtube somewhere, but it's also available on HBO Max if you have that.
She might be a reaper, but she is hardly grim. Fluttershy: the not so grim reaper would be more fitting.

I concur. I've been trying to write the second chapter recently(well, I've been technically trying to write it since I wrote the first one), and it's been... More difficult than I expected. But, it's not a dead story, I am determined to get it going again soon.
