Godslittleprincess

I think Twilight's best pony because I relate to her the best.

Sequels1

This story is a sequel to Flash and Twilight Watch The Lion King

Written for FlashLight Week 2020 Day 1
Prompt of the day: Opposites

The pandemic has finally crept into my writing. :ajbemused: Don't worry. This is a relatively happy and pleasant story. Just because life is especially hard and cruel now, it doesn't mean we can't find something to be happy about. :raritywink: Like this ship.

Well, we can rule out the pox as what Flash has. (That's a joke)
It is cute, but I am with Spike, no kisses for Flash... well atleast until he gets better.
It is sweet how Twilight solved the hug problem.
Looking forward to the next entry...
Wait why is this fitting to the prompt of opposites? I've seen several anime where the girl takes care of the guy when he has a server fever...

That was cute. Nice to see Flash and Twilight are happily married together. It is sad Flash is sick but at least he’ll be okay, and he’s got a loving wife and a great dog to help support and take care of him.

This was a pretty good fan fiction man! Keep it up!
(Also: Simba, everywhere the light touches is our kingdom. - Mufasa)

Cute. Thought I think the getting kissed by Spike part might be overkill.

How does one automatically jump to 'marriage' from the prompt of 'Opposites'?
I am trying to follow your train of logic. Every thing after the selection of Flash and Twilight being married I follow, it's how you got to there from the prompt of 'Opposites' that has me utterly befuddled.

Traditional marriage vows typically consist of different sets of opposite extremes the happy couple promises to endure together. If you want a more straightforward answer, one of them is sick, and the other is healthy. Also, I subtly worked in another set of opposites into this story. It's so subtle that I'll give you five cookie emojis if you can find it.

Why is the prompt opposite? Also, I’m glad this came out on my birthday.

That's just what Ro and Angy picked for today's prompt.

So, the story is about opposites?

No, the prompt is just to inspire people to write or draw something. Now that I think about it, this prompt might be better suited for a visual medium. Then again, Ro's mainly a visual artist, and Angy's best known for her video editing. I tried to make it work.

Visual medium?

Hi!
I think I already saw the confusion that was generated about this fanfic. I'm going to say two things about that:

1- Even though I edit videos, I also write fanfics. Every year I visualize the ideas to be so ambiguous that any writer, artist or video editor can use them however they like. I will not be demanding with the creator of the content, however the artist/writer/editor need justify a reason, if we don't see any intention to fit with the prompt we see it as a means to promote their work and not to participate in the week.

2- Presenting this written idea is complicated, my idea for this day was "Flash goes to Crystal, not Canterlot", an opposite situation.

I really liked what was exposed here, Twilight and Flash themselves are quite opposite in how they act or think. I could see how Flash is much more patient and much less demanding than Sci-Twilight.

Hope you can enjoy the week, good luck!

Awwwww, this is just the kind of heart-warming fluff I needed to read today
