I really like how you have written Troubleshoes.
Seriously. I can't stress that enough. You did a good job with his thoughts, processes and his speech. He feels at least as good as he did in his solo episode (so sad we never saw him again). I like how he seems to have developed further since that episode.
AJ, I really get the feeling that time has moved on for her but other than getting older, not much else has changed in her immediate world. But carrying the load herself has worn her down. Under this set up, I feel like she has a lot to gain from Troubeshoes company.
I can see that even as a young mare, Apple Bloom is just as troublesome as ever. Nice that she helps out on the farm, even if she's not always there.
Pinkie Pie ... her whole dialogue and overpowering moment at the bakery was funny. That was a high point for the chapter although I found her only able to offer him day old cupcakes to be a bit odd. Like she was really trying to send him on his way to Applejack or something.
Although this ending. Nice moment between AJ & Troubleshoes after she roped him up. Applebloom sneaking in the side and surprising her sister and grandma like that was funny.
It feels like he didn't get a feed at all that evening..? Poor guy.

That's good, and maybe we get a glimpse of why Pinkie did what she did in a future chapter. Definitely have plans for all these little thoughts in my head when I decided to ship the two together. Getting there is half the fun.

Not a lot of content with this pair let alone work involving Trouble shoes. Haven't really read many MLP fics for a hot minute now but I recall there only being maybe 9 less involving Trouble shoes then there have been since his first appearance. Thank you for contributing to both.
