That's a very good idea. Though when she gets to Equestria and are reunited with the other alicorns, I haven't decided if I'm going to have Twilight give some of her guard to them or give them the knowledge to make their own.

Okay, I can clearly see the many references between warhammer and fallout. And I can say with certainty and clarity that I positively LOVE how well you've managed to weave such drastically different environments and themes together in this story.
If I have one complaint thus far (beyond reviving the ONE villain I loathed the most!!!), it's that we haven't really seen the so-called ponemarchs in action and what makes them so special when compared to the rest of the army or the Nebula Guard. Really, the only thing that really seems to stand out is that they seem to be partially reincarnated versions of at least two of the Mane 6.
But, aside from that, I'm loving the story so far!!

There's a lot of work I still need to do with the individual ponemarchs. I plan on expanding on them and their respective legions and have plans on focusing more on them as the crusade spreads out and splits up more. I already have the 10 ponemarchs general personalities and their respective legions preferred tactics and weapons figured out and one legion's colors figured out. I did put on a blog asking the readers to help with ideas on the legions color schemes, regalia, standards, traditions and any successor herds they may have and offered to credit their work in both the story's long description and the chapter notes they were featured in, but so far none have responded. If you wish to offer ideas, feel free to leave me a PM.

Heh, not bad! I gotta admit to being a little surprised. It's nice to see that the Crusade is actually TRYING and that this isn't going to be a stomping rout of all enemies.

I gotta say that I was a little surprised at first at how this chapter was written. A lot of time skips were in here. Not that I'm complaining since it helps move the storyline along.
Man, was it gratifying to see Snow Drift be brought in and put into action. Granted, I was also a little surprised at how quickly she became an urban legend. I mean, wouldn't the military and/or scientific community have known that there was a strange new specimen brought in? Wouldn't they have spread the word about it's escape and make a rather logical leap that all the troubles with the slaves and plumbing were this mutant's doing?
Oh well, you UPDATED!! That alone has GREATLY lifted my mood for the day! So, thank you very much! I can't wait to see what happens next in the story. As well as the other readers' reactions to my two contributions to this awesome story of yours.

Heheheheh, that was short but VERY enjoyable! As much as I'm probably going to be hating Da Hogz in the coming chapters, I gotta admit that it was surprisingly invigorating and highly entertaining seeing them going about their ways like that. I rather pity Equestria when this OINK!! arrives on their doorstep.
Plus, that was a rather convenient way for the Princesses to likely learn of what's to come. Rather diabolical scheme of the deer, using Da Hogz as cannon fodder to ignorantly do their dirty work for them. The more I read of these deerfolk, the more I grow to despise them. Which is odd when you remember just how comparatively little screen time they've had. Even less than Da Hogz!
Regardless, I'm still really enjoying this story and am eager for the next chapter!
Wowza, a LOT happened in this chapter! And this isn't even the full content of it? Now I'm REALLY looking forward to the next chapter! It was great seeing old faces like Smolder again. Her being a badass was awesome and definitely the high point here.
But what I found most interesting was how some of the Elements seem to have already chosen their new bearers and yet seem unable to bond with them. Waiting for them to demonstrate their specific quality before the bonding can begin or something? I guess that kinda makes sense.
Although, it does make one wonder about how the faith of New Unicornia views the Elements themselves, not the past bearers. Could make Peach Nectar's reaction towards one interesting. After all, even if she consciously rejects the religion, that faith still took up a huge part of her life until now. Most people can't just toss out ingrained beliefs and habits like their nothing. But I digress, maybe she just sees the Elements as questionably-intelligent super powerful magical constructs rather than one of the last remaining holy artifacts of the lost Golden Age?
Well, regardless, this was one doozie of a chapter that I THOROUGHLY enjoyed! Plus, it's a great relief to know that you're continuing this story despite the new hotness that is Gen 5 that's about to get started soon. So, thank you SO MUCH for this story!!
Whoooooo, wow! What a chapter! So much wonderful violence, so much plot taking place! Heh, even Spike is looking to get some!!! HA! That was probably my favorite part of the chapter.
Still, it was very refreshing to see a 'familiar' location once again and see what's become of it. I wonder how Apple Pie and Key Lime Pie reacted to learning they were distantly related and that The Quarry was Apple's ancestral home? But since we're here, I wonder if we're going to be getting a more in-depth exploration of the town? Seems like a good way to give the new Champions a means of bonding with one another. Maybe have them start getting into various little shenanigans that are moral-raising and amusing?
Ah! Ocellos is still alive too?! That's a surprise. It seems motherhood has agreed with her since she seems a great deal more confident in herself than she was. And, heh, her reference of Chrysalis, is that a subtle potential hint towards a future event? How very interesting....
And now,finally, the NEE have reason to raze New Unicornia. I ALMOST feel bad that my creation is now on the chopping block. Heh, looking forward to seeing its demise! Hopefully after that we'll be able to see the Cold Tribes! Given that winter's now approaching, there's a certain thematic symmetry to Mew Unicornia falling before we venture into the Frozen North, eh?
Hm...That's all I can think of for now.

It'll be a while before getting to the Crystal Empire, the Frozen North and the cold tribes. There will be other things done after the war with New Unicornia, including a couple of big symbolic moves.
Whooooo! That was awesome! Nice to see that you took my suggestions so well. I really like that little change you made with the fruit. Exploding if it was bitten into? Nice, and suitably dark for the era. Seeing the various stages of marines induction and the NEE just doing basic recruiting and training was certainly very nice. That scene with the girls and Celestia was a rather good bonding moment for them. And that was some nice world-building you added in with the Saddle Arabians not being able to get cutie marks.
But now the real fun begins!! While Cozy Glow's escape is basically inevitable, I wonder where she'll go next? Eh, something to worry about later. We've got a war to fight now!!
HoHOOOOO!!! Now THAT was a BATTLE!! I loved every moment of it! While Star Gleam's initial refusal makes sense, I still couldn't help but shake my head at her somewhat arrogance in assuming she could outwit FIVE alicorns when they're all fighting on the same battlefield alongside one another. Then again, she was also apparently operating on either partial or incomplete data on her enemies and their forces. So, her arrogance does make a slight amount of sense. The Princesses' bellowing proclamation was awesone and what a way to make their presences known! Too bad it's acting as a beacon for Da Hogz, but that fight's inevitable. Seeing Spike and Smolder trounce the reinforcements was awesome. And it looks like we'll be opening the next chapter with the part I've personally been looking to the most! After all, the Ice ponies are my babies!!
Yeah, I totally loved this chapter and am SUPER eager for what's to come next!!
Ooooooooh, boy! Grogar's on the move!! I can honestly say that I didn't see that coming! Especially in New Unicornia. Granted, I can kinda understand the reasons why they took such drastic steps. They were losing the war badly, resorting to scorched earth tactics to spite their conquerors, whilst their beloved leader descended ever deeper into unnatural madness. Finally, while I understand the likely reasons why he wants the alicorns' hearts at Mount Everhoof, I am far from surprised that Blood Diamond has essentially become his flunkie. Such a bloodthirsty and psychopathic leader left in charge of the remainder of the government will ensure that the maximum amount of bloodshed will occur after all. Man, what an overall ominous transitory chapter!
My only complaint is that you, like quite a few others, did that weird text thing where you mixed up that symbols in an effort to make his 'voice' and presence seem more ominous. But, honestly, all it did was break the immersion as I struggled to even read LETTERS in that mess! Please, I beseech you! Don't do that again.
