This story is a sequel to How Zephyr Unintentionally Destroyed the Banks

After Celestia's successful war against the banks, Rainbow Dash's heroic(?) sacrifice of abundant numbers of her own soldiers has earned her a commission in the Wonderbolts. Unfortunately, that requires the brash mare to understand basic military knowledge, otherwise Equestria would run out of Wonderbolts.

Twilight Sparkle valiantly offers her services to once again show off how much she knows tutor the pegasus in the arts of war. However, to both Rainbow Dash's and the Princess of Friendship's surprise, their mutual seamstress friend is an experienced student of war. The fashionista, Rarity, takes over Rainbow's training as quickly as she took over the sacred lands of the buffalo.

Celestia help them all.

Sequel to "How Zephyr Unintentionally Destroyed the Banks" and a setup for a multi-chapter fic following Zephyr Breeze and Prince Blueblood.

Rated Teen for references to violent warfare, death, and (of course) sex.

im surprised Zephyr got called up you think he get special exception for services rendered to the princess

anyway yes twilight your the bad guys

Red alert 3 theme intensives.

see this is why I absolutely love this website LMAO

My fucking sides.

"The Royal Equestrian Army, 501st Legion, 'Faust's Fist'," Rarity snapped the words out smartly. "I was a lieutenant in the support company, but I could have made captain if I'd stuck around a little longer. Alas, the military wasn't for me."

Now you've got me imagining Rarity in a 501st Legion Clone Trooper uniform. Boys in blue ftw!

This was great!

"That horrific losses are absolutely acceptable," the pegasus beamed. "If even one of my soldiers outlasts the enemy, then we win! A pyrrhic victory is still a victory!"

What a great recipe to get court-marshaled! March your men blindly into battle knowing full well they will be killed in the name of a victory will be sure to get you fame and respect (At least in prison)

Also, just a thought, isn't this what the Germans did on the Western Front? Believing they had the upper hand in manpower and supplies, Hitler marched his forces forward, even though it was winter, and supplies were starting to dwindle because he believed that in the end if he won the war against Russia, the losses he procured would be offset by the gains of taking Russia?

In that case, if I was the acting commander of the opposite force, I'd do the exact same thing as the Russians. Take everything, and burn the rest, knowing that in Rarity's mindset, she'd continue to march her forces head-on in an attempt to gain a pyrrhic victory. Then, I'd bring her to a major city, and Stalingrad this and just bomb the hell out of her continuously until she would have no choice but to surrender.
