Yay Thorax transformed and was that some LunaxPharynx I saw.
Sweet, we have the sequel here to enjoy right away & what a way to start things off!
The transformation for Thorax, Pharynx & the rest of the changelings was a blast to see, especially so early into this story. Not to mention a small tease for Luna/Pharynx mayhaps?
Now I can't wait to see what else you have in store, maybe Mt. Aries & the hippogriffs or a romp though the Dragonlands for Twilight & Spike? The possibilities are endless!
A nice first entry into this sequel, looking forward to more!

Honestly, it would be interesting to see Twilight and Spike visit the Dragonlands earlier and perhaps meet Dragonlord Torch and Ember and for Spike to befriend Ember earlier.

Oh boy, quite a few wide-eye moments in this chapter alone! From the royals confirming that Luna & Pharynx do have feelings for each other, to Queen Scolopidia meeting Vinyl & Octavia and finally have a good cry for her departed mother & Twilight getting rid of that stupid century debt for the griffons, gotta admit you sure have turn things around in just 2 chapters of this story. I can just imagine a full-on driven Twilight just going though every loophole those ponies at Byzantion had, sweating buckets all the time while Twilight was in there!
At least now we know what the *at Large* at the title stands for!
So the next stop for our intrepid duo is Mount Aries eh? I can wait to see what that brings to the table!
PS : Twilight has already done more here than just wave/smile & unfurl a banner for some dignitaries like in canon, I approve!!!

So Luna and Pharynx like each other and Thorax can't wait to tease him. As for Twilight, she got banned from a city due to her kicking out everypony. Looks like Twilight may learn about the Storm King earlier.
Well just found out you had sequal and loving it. My only main gripe about it so far is having the changelings turn into what thorax and others are. Personally I think thorax hive should been unique or mutation making them their own new species, with the queens of rest of changelings just no longer having holes in them. But this is your fic and will respect your decision it it, I still very much enjoying this story thus far and I do look forward to more chapters. (Ps I do imagine changelings in your fic going through change, but keeping the classic changeling but looking slightly different. ^^)

It's that yeti-like thing Pinkie met in "Party Pooped". The show doesn't seem to have given it a formal name, but someone called it a Gmork in the episode gallery on the MLP wiki, so I went with that.
He just found out that Moondancer - a mare - has feelings for his sister, and that Twilight doesn't know about it.
This particular meeting should go a lot more peacefully, I think.

Another sweet chapter, awesome!!!
On the pony's side watching Slice's Apple family show up at the farm was unexpected, not to mention the tension between Johnny & Wise concerning his actions against her own daughter, thankfully cooler heads prevailed for all involved!
Also the meeting between Rainbow's parents & Scoots aunts was fun to see, while also giving us a reason for Scoots aunts to move into Ponyville earlier than canon!
And finally on Twilight's side we get to meet the hippogriffs early while sadly learning about Queen Skydancer's fate. The meeting between Twilight & Novo was very informative, including the mention of an attempt at stealing the pearl by who I assume must've been Tempest.
), seeing Twilight & Spike interacting with them was a blast! 
I fully enjoyed the dinner with the rest of Novo's family, including Silverstream & Terramar who I was hoping we get to see early (thank you for that by the way
Can't wait to see what else Twilight & Spike come across during their stay there, looking forward to it!
Well looks like Celestia and Luna are going to get an early warning about the Storm King and his ambitions. As for Rainbow Dash, she just got super embarrassed by her parents. The real question is where will Twilight visit next. I hope its the Dragonlands so we can meet Ember since Ember is awesome. It has nothing to do with the fact that I ship Spike and Ember, no sir whatsoever. Though as the element of Magic and Princess of Friendship I wonder what's Twilight partner is like how Novo is connected to Luna.

Her Opposite, at least, has been discussed in "The Mare From the Moon", another story in this multiverse - it's the Lord or Lady of Technology. The individual who holds that Power may not be the same in this universe though.

It was good to see another one the Young Six early (Ocellus) after Silverstream last chapter, here's hoping my fave of them cough*Smolder* makes an appearance in this story soon. She & Spike's sibling dynamic in the show was very enjoyable to watch.
Chrissy sure didn't help her case any when she finally arrived to face punishment for her actions, so glad she lost her arrogant attitude alongside the power Discord pulled out of her, wonder who will wield that power later down the road though?
Finally that last part makes me more exited for the next chapter, can't wait!!!!!!

And so a declaration of war has gone out against the Storm King, at least our cast are been more proactive here than in the movie. Still a bit worried about where he has hidden himself & what his next target is. It doesn't help that my new favorite couple are worried about each other falling in battle against him, hope that doesn't come to pass!
Finally Twilight & Spike next stop may provide some answers, although it may get them in the crosshairs of a certain broken-horn unicorn, can't wait!

Wow, that was a smart trap by Twilight. As for war, at least they will be better prepared than in the movie where they were completely caught off guard. Also, early redemption for Tempest perhaps. Also, that was adorable moments between Luna and Pharynx.

Depends on how the two work together. The first story of the Harvest-verse, for instance, mentions Celestia and Luna's father as holding both Night and Day, and he doesn't have any problems. For now, both in this universe and the Doa-verse, Luna holds both Dreams and Nightmares, protecting the innocent from bad dreams and giving bad dreams to those who need to be scared straight and not fall to evil; they're working together well now (as she noted, it was Umbrea's soul also being there that turned her evil until she was expelled). But there are some Opposites that, while they can work together, would not be good for the same person to hold at once - for example, having both Harmony and Disharmony in one body would probably be a supremely bad idea. (Heck, in the show, being too orderly in his home turf almost made Discord cease to exist until Fluttershy set things back to being more chaotic.)

Luna was not kidding with all of those war preparations, glad to see she's not leaving anything to chance. That reunion with the Mane 5 & Discord answered a few questions while posing new ones though, the mystery continues!
And to top it off that chiffhanger at the end there, sure hope Twilight knows what she's doing!
Well looks like Twilight may defeat the Storm King before anyone else has to. Man Twilight sure loves to shake up the geopolitical situation of her world. Also, Luna gave Spitfire the motivation she needs to better herself.

Quite a couple of intense scenes on this chapter alone, I don't even know where to start!
First off I can't believe it's been half a year already since the war started, that tussle between the changeling brothers was a bit heartbreaking but I believe they both grew stronger for it!
Also not to mention getting Discord to help them get their army to the strike zone that quickly was a major boost against the Storm King's forces!
And speaking of which, Storm King's fight against Twilight, Tempest & Pharynx was quite the ordeal! It's conclusion almost mirrored the movie's counterpart except for not going to pieces this time, although the result was still the same with a surprising twist in terms of who dealt the fatal blow!
Wonder what's gonna be Twilight & Spike's next stop now that this ordeal's over, can't wait to see who they run into next time around!
Well, looks like the Hippogriffs can go back home now. You know, Twilight's Friendship School may open earlier than in canon with all the lands she has visited so far. I do wonder where she and Spike will visit next. As for Thorax and Pharynx, those 2 needed that moment to show that they do love each other despite how Pharynx doesn't like to show it. I wonder who the Storm King's Master is.

loving this story. twi is growing into her role years in advance compared to canon. it wasn't util the epilogue that we see her even close to whats he is in this point in the story. before that, she still freaks over stuff
Poor spitfire but it is true about the wonderbolts, they aren't a military branch anymore. All they do is peform and have no experience in warfare so I do like your motivating spitfire and her bolts. I just pray that nothing happens to them, ^^ Had loved idea of luna being the commander and chief and reorganizing the equestrian military. Imagine new branch of bolts created with spitfire the head of it, but that's just random idea. Sorry I get into it sometimes. loved the chapter

Wait is the octopus a reference to Squirk from G1. Luna and Pharynx are going to get married which means that Celestia and Thora will be in-laws. Also, it's almost time for Twilight and Spike to visit the Dragon Lands and meet Torch and Ember.
Celebrations aplenty on this chapter alone now that the war against the Storm King's over, glad that we not only had a proposal but also Spike's egg origin & Twilight's traveling route though the other kingdoms to boot!
Also seems Heart's Warming Day is here once again during this tour for Twilight & Spike, it was cool seeing them visiting Aquastria & learning more about their history & culture.
Can't wait to see what else's in store!

Like the Mesoamerican twist, you gave to the Ahuizotl civilization which as a person of Mexican descent is nice. Funnily enough, I can pronounce all the words that the Ahuizotls used. Celestia is right to feel pride in Twilight who is spreading the magic of Friendship throughout the world. Maybe she opens up her Friendship school much earlier than in canon. Also, Twilight needs to take Pinkie to the land of Harpies because Pinkie would love the parties. Oh boy, will Daring Doo feel awkward after she learns the truth.

And the awesomeness continues, I'm really getting to be a fan of Blueblood on these latest chapters with the way he has helped Twilight on his end by dealing with the majority of rotten nobles in Canterlot.
And speaking of Twilight, I loved her and Spike's interactions with both the harpies & ahuizotls. Was hoping they would mention his race tangling with 2 certain adventurers & you didn't disappoint, those Daring Doo books may get some rewrites sooner than expected!

Yeah, many ponies react badly to things they don't recognize (I personally put some blame on the EEA and the fact that most schools probably don't teach ponies much about other species), and Daring's books will have made sure that you're species in particular might get a slightly worse reception than others

Yay we got to see Ember and Torch. Also Celestia doing Rainbow Rocks is different. You know Celestia should meet Flash to meet the guy that Twilight has a crush on. Poor EQG Fluttershy whose Zephyr is like his Equestrian version. Also found it funny at how upset Ember and Torch were at missing a war.
