And everything went pear shaped real fast.
Excellent job on the start of this story. I DID see the actual movie once and have some clue where it's going, but I'm not going to spoil things TOO much (I hope). Feeling bad for Flash right now, but I KNOW things ARE going to get better for him (which is the maximum detail I can go into without spoiling too much). Still, really good job on the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up in all the right places. And, yeah, I DO kind of like the added bit of giving Flash electrical powers AND wings in addition to the increased size and strength.
Without spoiling too much, I'm going to guess that the Main Seven/the Rainbooms are going to be seven of the monsters. Pretty much the only one I'm actually going to guess outright though is Sci-Twi being in the role of Doctor Cockroach (as that seems like the best monster for her personality). And Spike is most likely going be some sort of gigantic hybrid of a dog and a dragon (as a nod to both his Equestrian counterpart AND his human universe counterpart). I will freely admit that I COULD be wrong though.
At any rate, I will VERY certainly be looking forward to more of this.
Ok this is one story i'll be keeping tabs on. Seeing little boy blue got some static could be interesting. Though a few stuff made me confused.
Firstly, the Pope? The head man of the religion himself proceeding this wedding? Might wanna dial it down to a priest or reverend. Either way, you got my like.
I love this so far but I feel bad for Flash and LD.

I vaguely remember the film this is based on. Good start, but two things;
1. Maybe have a lower level member of clergy officiating the ceremony.
2. Will LD be similar in behaviour to Derek, or a bit nicer? On that note, I like how you echoed the Amazing Colossal Man with having Flash the subject of the craziness going on. Though was it neccesary to be told Lightning's bra size? It doesn't contribute anything to the plot.
I didn't see Shy.

If Celestia is the General in charge of here, then I wonder what position Luna is in?

Once again, splendid job on this latest chapter. The exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up were all well done in all the right places. I particularly liked the selection of monster alter-egos for [five of] the Rainbooms [especially Twilight's unicorn/owl hybrid form], the fact my guess concerning Spike was correct AND your spin on Godzilla's humanoid form. And, yeah, Flash's first full day as a monster is certainly going to be - eventful. And, even though you didn't mention it [Sunset is the only one of the monster girls you forgot about in the "monster mentions"], my guess is that Sunset is a demon.
Definitely looking forward to more of this (particularly seeing what roles Rarity and Fluttershy will be playing if they aren't monsters. Okay, Fluttershy is relatively easy to guess considering her compassion, her skill with animals and the fact that most of the monster girls have a fair amount of animal in them [i.e. she works for the prison to keep the inmates as close to happy as possible considering they can't leave], but the guess is just as likely to be wrong as right) .

VERY good job on the latest chapter. Once again, the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up are all really well done in all the right places. I especially liked Flash's chat with Celestia concerning the origins of Tartarus and the level of secrecy involved, as well as Flash's electrical accidents and the set-up for the main plot in this story. And, yeah, it doesn't surprise me that Rarity is the facility's main designer.

And now the real adventure is set to officially begin. Again, the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up are all well done in all the right places. Yeah, I can definitely understand Twilight getting a little TOO MUCH into the "mad scientist" stuff when she is technically trying to help Flash (to the point where Flash snapped at her and Fluttershy had to calm Spike down), but I DID greatly enjoy how the female monsters are reflecting on Flash (and yeah, Godzilla having issues with being the reason she is one of the last of her kind AND reflecting on the power she is feeling from Flash is a great detail). Plus, that bit of failed diplomacy (which was in the actual movie) sets up the opportunity for the girls and Flash to gain their pardons.
