Rarity waits near the alter for one of the two brides of the wedding. With Big Mac escorting Applejack down the aisle Rarity can't help as her mind wanders back to earlier times.

On a more serious note, good job! I thought before reading that it would have been some delusion and AJ would be dead or something. The grammar is good, the pacing is nice, if quick, and the subject is pretty believable. Good job in all. 8/10

Rarity smiled gently. Applejack was absolutely beautiful. Her dress complimented her perfectly. She wouldn't have chosen that style herself, but it had been what Applejack had wanted to wear. Rarity had to, of course, aqueous to Applejack's wishes as she was the bride. Well, one of them at least. And though not her favorite style Rarity couldn't help but think about how it complimented Applejack's style perfectly. Simple but pretty, with the hint of her country self without putting too fine a point on it. Rarity also had to take a moment to congratulate herself, it had been her idea to put the tail on it, and it ended up being perfect.

You know what? Well done. An astounding twist, and I didn't see it coming at all. Sure, I had a guess in the bag, but I was dead wrong. I feel awful for Rarity, but I'm also proud of her. You did thing 120% right.

Ah, my guess had been that it would be able AJ's missing parents, actually. That Rarity would feel bad for her, that it might to some extent lessen the moment.
