Starswirl the Bearded passes surrounded by friends, and thinking of his more distant friends. He then makes his way onward towards a light, to talk with his greeter, before going to his final reward.

Nice, simple, beautiful. All in all, just right
This is a pretty sad story but a pretty good one and it looks like Star Swirl already accepted his fate when he died and then he saw Minuette which surprisingly she can see ghosts kind of reminds me of that show Ghost Whisperer
but still this was a pretty nice one keep up the good work
Great, flowing prose. I quite enjoy the Minuette as Death concept, even if (or perhaps, because) it's so rarely done.

A beautifully short and sweet story. Part of me wonders what will happen next for those on either side of the veil, but that is completely up to you, I would be content with this as it is. I have a bit of a cat-like curiosity to me sometimes.
