I do love how, since we're coming into the story with the relationship already in progress, we can see how these two have already shaped one another in ways that deviate from the usual expectations for them. This is such a wonderful, sweet story. The whole way through, Applejack and Twilight were there for each other, willing to hold the other up no matter what came their way, while still just being so comfortable and safe with each other.
Well-written, sweet, and definitely worth the read.
Interestingly you can practice doing eyebrow raising to get a better expression. I know this to be true because I have an eyebrow raise that is a habit and can now raise one brow more than the other.
If I grew in height I imagine I would do a lot more ominous looming, this is after the battery of medical tests and having to get a new wardrobe of course.

This is too fucking cute. Though I can't help but feel the third and last chapters should have been reversed. Since the third ties up the whole "big spoon" thing nicely and the last chapter makes it end on a somewhat bittersweet note but that might be the point I suppose. Great story regardless.
