Rainbow Dash meets a fan of hers at a Wonderbolts event. Being so awesome and totally able to help, the filly begs her to look for her lost brother; she even knows where he might have gone! But Rainbow feels the local police would be more helpful, sends her away and thinks nothing more of it.
That is, until the filly goes missing as well. Now a conscience-stricken Rainbow must track her down to a desolate peak shrouded in an eternal storm, to the remains of a decrepit factory, and endure the horrors within to save her.

Oh look, it's our resident ponies that are always associated with the factory. Glaze, the song writer, and BDP, the music video animator. Something tells me if Rainbow does encounter them face to face they are going to try and make her join them or something close.

I didn't know the purple guy worked in the Rainbow Factory. Or did he pass on his findings and information about animatronics to that wicked stallion, because you know that Pegasus was just stuffed into a freaking Freddy Fazbear costume and began laughing just like him.
I cant wait to find out who the overseer is. All we know so far is the letter B.

Not sure about the stallion, but we all know that Glaze (The green and yellow Pegasus mare) sings with a partially robotic voice. That's my best guess I'm afraid as I've never heard their actual voice.
You say it's a reimagining, but based on the last two chapters or so, it feels more like a prequel.

Well, I'd written this as just a one-off thing, but now that I think about it, I could definitely pull a sequel or even a trilogy out of this.

That was... good. Very good. That plot twist was pulled off well; just enough hints throughout to raise suspicion — but never enough to give it away.
I suspect a lot of people are skipping over this simply because it's associated with the Rainbow Factory in a way that doesn't have Rainbow Dash as the antagonist.
