Cider Season is probably my favorite season of the year, 'cept for Zap Apple Harvest time. This year was the biggest crop of cider apples we had, and our till was showing it. Yeah, we didn't have enough cider today for everypony in Ponyville, but we still had a lot more than we did last year.

Ah, SSCS6000. Despite being one of the more entertaining episodes of season two, it pretty much relied on everyone involved being rock stupid. Admitably, that wouldn't be a huge stretch for Apple Bloom
(child) Granny Smith (senile) and just barely Applejack 
(fancy mathematics), but Big Macintosh also struck me as a sensible guy
.
Though this would make a utterly tedious episode, unless it went into the ramifications and implications of the actual machine, which appears to be a technological breakthrough, this was amusing quick read. Nice job.
