Needs more Discord.

This was something I wrote about a month ago, and it's been sitting around collecting dust. The problem is, is that at 700-some words it's as complete as it's going to get, which means that unless I can come up with a followup chapter it'll never pass moderation over here.

So I brute-force-solved the problem by posting it to FF.net instead.

It has just occurred to me that the fics (pony or not) that I want to write for the sake of writing them will never be very well received - in one instance because of how small the fandom is - while the fics that I'm working on as time-fillers (Disorder of the Phoenix for the non-pony crowd, and Wyvern Cult for the bronies) are going to be the ones that everyone that's read my stuff will have read.

I'm close to having enough words for Wyvern Cult to pass moderation, which means the scene-setter and the first chapter of actual narrative will be getting typed up soon (what I do is I hand-write enough to get a chapter started, then type up the rest). What I'll need is a pre-reader and a tag-suggester. I'm terrible at judging which tags I should use. I could easily replace the Wyvern with Gak, but then I'd get banned. Hard.

Between Twilight Sparkle makes a cup of tea and the myriad of "Twilight is now an ALICORN ehmegerd" fics, I thought about writing a fic where the vehicle for relative immortality was being a bearer of the elements of harmony. Somehow that wound up with the punchline "and our successors names were Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo."
