May I ask how many years apart are Pharynx and Thorax in your headcanon? I know Pharynx is the older brother, but in this story is Thorax supposed to be close to his age, or is he a baby grub?

I'd say they are kinda dar apart in age, Thorax being four years younger or something, but Changelings grow up in phases, like real bugs.
Like Grubs turn into Nymph for a couple years (which are what Pharynx and Thorax are in this story.) And all nymphs are about the same size.

Very cute, a softer side of Pharynx we never got to see. If his brother truly got hurt in front of him, who knows how he'd have reacted.
You should try your hand at these two and thier relationship post-reformation sometime.
