Several weeks have passed since the Fall Formal and Canterlot High is back to normal, well...almost. But as the school prepares for a music festival, three strange girls appear with dark aspirations. Can our high school heroes find out what they're planning and save the day, or will Canterlot High fall to these girls' dark melody?

This is going to be awesome. I wonder how big of a role the Royal Knights will play here? I'm actually surprised Lightning isn't back. I was expecting him to be back by now but if he refused to come back then now I'm wondering if he has become like how Pony Lightning was at the beginning of the series before he became friends with Flash and the others.

Flash and Twilight have arrived. I like Flash's small rant about how ancient evil was always sealed away instead of defeated, since it always come back eventually. The show really does like to use the Sealed Evil in a Can trope.
PLEASE don't make Flash act like a jerk in this one. I'm tired of the fandom using him as a punching bag.

I always thought that scene with the bands at the party was embarrassing when absolutely nothing happened. The creators said it was a way to make fun of how they previously solved their problems from out of nowhere (which includes the first EG film) but I honestly wish they did it another way.
I still think its funny how all the human friends they have immediately can tell Flash and Twilight are going to be a couple, despite having known them such a short time.
Flash is right, that is literally the whole point of being hexed or brainwashed.

Flash with his own band having his own clash with the sirens and Sonata wanting Flash... I'd sue for copyright infringement, but in my fic it was Adagio that... well feel to read it for yourself.
Nice to have Flash and Twilight separated in this, maybe with some distance between them they will see what everyone does.
Not sure how I feel about 'Count up your sins' as a song, the phrase itself felt massively watered down halfway through the Doomsday Arch when Everypony started using it, well to me anyway.

It's an imaginary bunker, so I can't give you a physical address, but we normally use it while reading Brotherhood and Sisterhood. I think we're also probably going to start using it for KidatHeart5's story Prisoners of the Heart.

Well the finals are soon, which means the ending is near. I'm glad Flash's infamous scene was given to his human bandmates, and the worse Flash's attitude got was calling them out on their own bad attitude, which is understandable since they were acting like the Pony Iron or Pony Lightning did in season 1. Hope Grand will be okay.
I think Flash may have dodged a bullet there. There's an old saying, "don't ever stick your dick in crazy."
There's another quote that I remember I think would help Sunset, "your past doesn't define who you are, it just gives you the starting point for who you're going to be."
Yeah, the differences between the two Trixie's are much easier to see here thank to Pony Trixie being made a friend much faster thanks to Flash.

That is the plan.... OH I didn't see that coming. Flash is going to be devastated. Nice twist. I can't wait, we are getting near the finalle. And I wonder if the little extra scene at the end will hint to where Flash is in this world. And I hope we see what Springer is, maybe a card, a plushie or keychain. Great job here.

Man, it must have really hurt for Flash to fight his mentor, even if it is a different version of him. I liked the call forward with Flash using "Twilighting". I also kinda liked how Flash called out Trixie's behavior, since in canon she didn't seem to show any remorse for cheating or gratitude for being freed. Now I wonder if she'll be punished for cheating in the first round and her illegal reentry in the finals.

This was pretty good. It might have been mostly the same, like you said it would, but all your small changes were great. I'm really excited for the rest of the Equestria Girls movies to get done now since things will really pick up with the new human Flash. Also, human Flash and Twilight being friends with the human Lightning and I'm going to guess the human Ruby was very surprising. I can't wait to see how that plays out. On to the next story!

"Oh, come on," Sunset took Twilight's pencil and put it in a nearby sharpener, "I've seen the way you two are together. You have got to be a couple."
"No, serious." She crossed her hands as she stressed her next word, "Friends."
Sunset rolled her eyes at this as she gave Twilight her pencil back before looking away. "You know...he's kinda cute, don't you think?" She looked back and saw Twilight was slightly blushing.
"I guess. If you like that...unassuming...heroic...knightly type."
