Obsidian Shield is a pegasus on a quest to see all of Equestria. He wants to make friends, see the sights, and just enjoy himself overall. He prefers to go by his nickname, Obie. Join him as he attempts to understand how life works outside of his hometown and learn why he wants to experience everything Equestria has to offer.

Obsidian Shield = bad ass OC name

Gah, another story with potential, my read later pile is getting rather large.
Please, do go on.

hmm, a nice, slice of life, enjoyable tale with a character who seems like he'll be fun to read about.
i'm definitely gonna track this, it's off to a good start. :pinkiehappy:

a pegasus that isn't good at flying and doesn't care for clouds?
him and Fluttershy could get along well together.

i'm really liking the writing style so far. nice and descriptive, and best of all, very few spelling/grammar errors.
it's much easier to enjoy a story when i'm not constantly stumbling over missing words and things like that

oh btw, i dunno if you've seen this already, but a few weeks ago a canon map of Equestria was unveiled:

dunno if you want to factor that into Obie's travels, or use your own personal imaginings. the map itself says that the distances are not to scale, so in a way it's more of a map of notable landmarks, good for directional reference, rather than a detailed piece of cartography to be strictly adhered to.

1108829 Thank ya. I'll have to use it as a point of reference. Although, I do plan on taking my own liberties with some things.

And thank you for stroking my ego. I haven't edited it yet so I thought there would be tons of errors. I'mma have a friend help point them out to me.

Again, Thank ya!
