Great job on the start of your alternate version of "Bridle Gossip". I have to admit, the action, exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up are all well done in all the right places. I particularly liked the chat between Twi and AJ at the start of the journey. And, yeah, AJ IS strong enough to handle a cragadile on full alert when she doesn't have to worry about anybody but herself.
Of course, I have a hunch Twi and Bloom WILL meet "the witch" (aka Zecora), only to find she is nowhere near as bad as the other kids make her out to be.
I will very certainly be looking forward to more of this.
Excellent job on the wrap-up to this short story. Again, the exchanges, characterizations and general wrap-up are all quite well done. And, yeah, I can't say I blame you about not liking rhyming, I'm pretty bad at it myself.
But yeah, I'm glad Twi and Bloom were able to calm down AJ and explain about Zecora before any serious harm was done.
I'm definitely going to be looking forward to more of your work.
