This was a interesting story. But the big thing I have to point out is that Fluer was fully ready to end her relationship. She was even willing to start one with Cadance who she KNOWS is married herself. What Cadance is putting out there feel more like she is trying to force those two together instead of fix what their issue is. I mean those words and feelings she want Fluer to tell Pants aren't how she feel about him but how she feel about her. Now it could be that Fluer was just projecting the need of some kind of support as romantic desire for Cadance but that still leads to a major underline issue between those two. I think this was nice but I think it also show Cadance seem to be the type to think all love is rainbows and sparkles when it really isn't.
I'd like to see what happens after. Very good story!

I don't mind a Lyra and bon bon shipping fanfic, but a Fleur and Cadence fanfic out of the question.

Agreed. It's weird how many fics depict Equestrian females as so ready to switch sides at the drop of a hat.
Before I read this, I thought Cadence was going to use the necklace for some kind of “make your lover jealous” scheme. But hey, this works, too. Though I still 100% think Cadence planned everything except the Fleur misunderstanding from the moment she bought the necklaces.
Ah, I remember once searching for Celestia + Fleur romances, and being incredibly amused that doing so returned more Cadance + Fleur stories than it did Celestia + Fleur ones (there are 0, by the way). You're not helping, Abyss!
