This is actually a really awesome idea. Great role for Discord, I love these kind of "reformed villain pretends to still be a villain to sucker the actual villains" things. I'm not normally a big fan of huge crossovers and I dislike that Discord is usually portrayed as weaker than other chaotic beings, but you have a great explanation for that here -- he's not weaker, but he's less cruel and nasty, which means he seems weaker. And I like that his friends know about his plan and are supporting him, rather than being all "Discord's gone back to being evil again!"
Definitely looking forward to more of this.
Well, this definitely seems like a very interesting idea, akin to that "Animal Kingdom" story you have on Fanfiction.net. I'll admit, it was a bit jarring to suddenly be thrown into things without much of an explanation how we got here, but I'm still intrigued about where this'll go. Although, I have a feeling Twilight keeping secrets from Dipper is going to bite her in the flank later.

Yes! Thank you! I was hoping someone would catch that! Yes, the whole point of this story is to show how Discord works as a plant in this kind of situation because at this point in the MLP series he's very much reformed and has gained so much since his days as a villain. Plus he already went the whole turning evil again when Tirek came back so he's learn his lesson from that and has no desire to repeat that mistake. When you think about it, Discord is actually the most dangerous of the Chaotics by doing good under their noses.
This chapter was, in my opinion, a lot more enjoyable than the last one.
The scene with the Chaotics was fun; they had good chemistry with each other, Bill and Him's argument was funny, and I liked how Aku was kind of like the annoyed dad. Also, I really liked Discord's role here as a mole; I think it works for him and it was a pretty smart idea he came up with. I'm also glad the girls were understandable with him (instead of this turning into a situation where they think he's turned back to evil).
It was also nice to get a brief glimpse into how things got started (at least, from the ponies' perspective), and that ending scene between Discord and Fluttershy was really sweet; it manages to show how much he's changed and also how he's so different from the other Chaotics (namely, in how he thinks the others are not very creative, as well as having actual friends).
All in all, this was a very enjoyable chapter, and I'm interested to see what happens next.
Gotta say the story is really good. Sooner or later Dipper and the others are gonna be in for a surprise when Twilight and her friends reveal themselves. Also I like how Stan's take on this Chaos War is very conflicting for him as he put's family first in situations like this. The Fluttershy and Discord interactions are cute as well.
This does raise a lot of questions. But I like what I have read so far and I am curious about the rest of it. I am going to keep reading.
Definitely an interesting premise especially with Discord still being a good guy and acting as a spy for the heroes.
It was definitely entertaining to see the Chaotics interacting with each other. They all seem pretty in character. I can definitely see Aku being the most serious out of all of them and be the one to keep them from clashing with each other. I also like Bills nickname for Discord. Wonder what his nickname for the others are?
I feel each of them are pretty equal in power. So Discord could probably take one on, but definitely not the three of them working together. So this is the best action he can take now.

Honestly that isn’t too bad. If the rest of the Chaos authority goes down first then Discord can drop the act and fix things..... that is if the plan works out.
That might be a problem though. Ford definitely has his sights on killing Bill no matter what.
