Good start to the story!
After rewatching "Discordant Harmony" yesterday, I'm in the mood for a good Fluttercord story!
Sorry there is not as much traffic to your other works lately. But this is going to be interesting.
Well I'm certainly not complaining over a Fluttercord story so I certainly can't wait to see where this goes but I hope you don't give up on your other stories or at least not It Runs in the Family because I was getting into that story. But I definitely prefer Fluttercord every time
so looking forward to the next chapter.

I personally think RD would not be "Rarity's assistant" full time , butSoarin's squire... but it works.
Just one request, please don't make Fancy Pants a butler or the major domo. Maybe a high ranking member of the court or government, but not a castle staff member.

even better with Fluttershy in it and the other Maine six

I have to agree with Twilight, Fancy Pants sounds like he would make a better king.... wait Silver Quill has been doing videos on Jungian Archtypes in MLP, and while he hasn't actually tackled the Jungian King Archetype he has presented the case that of all the male characters Fancy filts best in that archetype.... CartoonNerd12 you magnificent .... I read your stories!
No pony seems to like working for the king. Well I can't blame them. But maybe they are going about this the wrong way. Maybe instead of discouraging Fluttershy they should try using her deal as means to leverage a wayu out. Maybe have Fluttershy ask the king to demonstrate his 'love' by say letting the staff be happy one baby step at a time.
Wow.... I knew the king was bad, but... . Fluttershy has her work cut out.
It's both nice and sad to know the Mane6 and most of their special someponies aren't alone.
I think I can guess the destination but it's the route that has stumped. ... wait a minute Screwball hasn't made an interjection in a while... o_O

Well...I can see how it works when the king go's, every pony party's all night
when he's gone business, and the songs are pretty random for pony's like them sing out of nowhere,or in party's,
that was pretty random, like pinkie pie and cheese sandwich.

Also I really do hope Fluttershy can try to help the king be kind and less.... Controlling over everything around him and his servants.

...I just had this crazy thought that the king IS Discord, and he's helping Fluttershy spin the straw into gold, Discord DID say his heart was stone, plus he really wants Fluttershy to be his bride, so maybe that's why he's secretly helping her, and giving her time so that she can fall in love with him...crazy thought right? probably inaccurate but it's still a GOLDEN plot

I decided he is my favourite character in the movie. So will this be a love triangle with Rarity, Capper and Fancy Pants? Because while I still like Fancity, Capperty has become my new favourite Rarity ship.

I see in the show itself more like Capper and Rarity but I don't think he has a 'true love' in this, I get the feeling he'll be preseeved as competition by the king for Fluttershy after Interacting with the mare the first time and will play the role once he sees the king reacts.
