Okay, before anyone gets mad at this comment, I just want to say that I love this series. It's probably THE ONE fanfiction series that I cannot stop reading. I should know because this would be my fifth time going through it.
I love reading it so much that I hate it when I find plot holes. I especially hate it when I find plot holes that I have a hard time explaining away, but here's what I noticed. The family got Spike after Sombra was cursed, and Sombra was cursed for 10 years, which means Spike can't be older than 10. So, unless dragons age twice as fast as ponies in this universe, how in the world can Spike possibly be old enough to marry Applejack during the events of The Midnight Dance?! I'm sorry. 
I don't mean to be critical, but that's just bothering me a bit. 
6987213 As an author it's hard to remember some of the things you wrote, but I am trying to remember where it says that it's been ten years from when Sombra was cursed, because I don't think I gave out an exact timeline of when the curse happened. I could be wrong, since it has been awhile since I've written these stories.
6989789 In Sweet Pea, when Sweetie wishes to see her parents, Sombra says that Celestia had been running the kingdom by herself for 10 years.

Well the best answer I can give to that is dragons age differently, and it is entirely possible, because the show doesn't give us exact details of dragon biology.

7159681 Let me explain. They want to keep the fact that Fluttershy married Discord to keep themselves from being accused of cheating secret. Then Sour Sweet says the old 'at least they don't have...' line when they do. As the sucker punch, they come up with the idea to make it seem like they were cheating with the idea that Discord helped them cheat.
Don't be worried though, I love it. I just don't know to laugh or facepalm at the irony of events.

And Little Apple Jewel made a new friend too, right?!
