Poor, poor Hase. He defintely deserved better than he got. I'm so glad in at least one universe, someone's keeping an eye on him. (And is it wrong I want to see those Jimber Arms introduced in this story?)

But yes, I feel like, Hase deserved better than what Urobuchi gave him. And while I realize this is what Urobuchi DOES, it's something that needed to be rectified.
