I hope that's not why you have abandoned previous projects. And leave this one nothing but a mere concept. It's actually nice when an author follows through with their work, whether the end result is satisfactory or not! (yes, I do read disclaimers).

If having readers enabled me to be able to finish projects, then I'd have written the rest of Bloom Filter by now instead of getting stuck on the stupid Fluttershy chapter and never feeling any motivation to work on it for literal years. But yeah, it is a little discouraging when nobody leaves any comments about the latest chapter in this story, for the last... 9 chapters. I wish more people could discover this awesome story, which seems to have turned into a lame, unpopular story once I've written it down. But I swear it's the best story I've ever written!
Also looking at the statistics, Magnificent is in 179 bookshelves. So my statement about "3 readers" is a teeny bit of an exaggeration. Still, no way to tell how many people faved this story, then left the site and never read it. And considering that "BlackWarGreymon: Warrior of Harmony" is in 1,013 bookshelves, 179 isn't all that... great.

Please, don't peter it out. I have written things no one will ever see, and wonder if I should have written them in the first place. You have actually posted your stories, and clearly want them to be seen, which they are as far as I can see. Possibly not a runaway hit, but a success nonetheless.
I actually like your statements, too. IIRC, you said you like for grim and dark things to happen, so long as things turn out alright in the end. I think animated film director Don Bluth said something remarkably similar. Kids can handle the bleakest of things so long as you end on a high note. I think one of your PMs said so, that it's best to have bleak, seemingly hopeless things happen, but you prefer for things to turn out fine in spite of that.

"But yeah, it is a little discouraging when nobody leaves any comments about the latest chapter in this story"
Well, I do! Just, you know, not on this page.
I do get that's not really what you meant, though; sorry.

Don Bluth is one of my favorite directors ever. Even when he lost Steven Spielberg, and all his movies turned into weirdo nonsense.
I don't think this story will peter out. Unlike Bloom Filter, I actually like Magnificent. And if the plot isn't charging forward like an out of control steamroller (very slowly, but good luck stopping it), then there's always the desire to see what Meadowsweet will get up to next, and with whom. I can't predict the future, but I'll try my best to bring this story to its epic conclusion.

Part of the issue might be the funky start to this whole thing. We went from cute pnoy meets human diabeetus to XXXhorsefucker in the span of what, three chapters? Pair that with Evil Twilight whiplash, "im pregante pregananant," and the transgender transspecies transformation from transexual Transylvania, and it doesn't make for wide appeal.
I'm struggling a lil to compare this to your other works. The characters feel a lot choppier in this, would be the best way to put it. Less well-rounded and complex. Might just be the constant mood whiplash, though.
honestly i'm just happy the story is linear
