This story is a sequel to Trixie's Valentine

If you didn't read the previous story, this contains spoilers.

Lately, Trixie spread a rumor about herself that she had a secret admirer. Everyone believed it, but no one knew who it was, except for Trixie. Trixie's secret admirer was... Trixie. She gets lost in her own eyes in the mirror, but no one knows about it and thinks it's an actual other person.

Now everyone is waiting for Trixie to reveal to them who her secret admirer is, since she made such a big deal out of it before. But Trixie is beginning to wish she never started this, on account of her not telling anyone a certain crucial detail about her secret admirer. Now she's feeling down, right in time for Valentine's Day... great. Just great.

It's starting to feel like she's destined to be alone forever, until a couple of friends come along.

Gonna need you to pick a tense there, buddy. :D It looks like you prefer present (given your greentext origins, it makes sense) but you have to make sure your verb tenses all stay in the present. Go ahead and read through this, but don't stress about it. Just practice by writing more fics and having more fun.

Grammar quibble aside, this hit all my squishy spots, just like the last prequel. Extra happy about Lavender and Fuchsia being so distinct from Trixie yet so caring about her just the same. Like, more than just random sidekicks, it was great!
Really looking forward to more tales of school!Trixie adorably fumbling around learning about friendship and love. :pinkiehappy: Or whatever else you've got planned.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely work on that for the next thing I'm going to write. The link does clear up a thing or two as well. Glad you liked how I wrote Lavender and fuchsia too. I actually wasn't sure if that was going to turn out well, but it looks like it worked somewhere.

There's so gonna be more, I can promise you that. With friendship, love and on occasion, a combination of the two. :raritywink:

I'm looking forward to whatever you're publishing next too, by the way. Thanks again for the feedback.

Damn almost the same time as last years fic, I also read the 1st when it came out:)

That's what I was going for. The one after this might be a little different than this, including how long it's going to be. But it will start from pretty much the same place.

A sequel, huh? The last story was really sad, let's see what is this about.
