Unlike Trixie however (based on what you told me on Deviantart), Thunderstorm, I feel, isn't going to get much more love in the series. From the author, not in story.

Still, I felt like there deserved to be some conclusion for him.

Interesting thought to be sure. THANK YOU for commenting!!!!

I...am speechless...

...I thought there was a reason I...found Thunderstorm a compelling character...there’s more nuance to him, including being a good husband, teacher and protector of this new flock of Pegasi....I will not excuse what he tried to do in Meadowville... but what he did here in this new Pegasus community, especially when he saved a lot of lives from the aggressors...I have nothing but praise for him.

And I’ll be honest, when he...died in his wife’s arms...I got very emotional and shed some manly tears.

Thunderstorm, in spite of his flaws and previous crimes, has left a legacy and inspiration worth imitating...through some degree. I salute him and hope his son, Lightning Storm, will carry on the torch and live his life according to the ideals set by his mother...

...There is one thing I have the most dread for. If Lightning Storm and the others will learn the truth about Thunder Storm’s past...I’m not looking forward to that.

I have one question though: who’s Star Dust? :applejackconfused:

I never liked the 'ran off and was never seen again' type villains, so I wrote this in response.

I do believe Star Dust is the name of the son's wife.

It was nice to see Thunderstorm managed to redeem himself even if he refused to admit he was wrong.

Fiction aimed at younger audiences, or other works that don't like to get their hands dirty, if the villain doesn't do himself in or an anti-hero doesn't dispose of them FOR the hero, exile and fleeing Never Heard From Again, is a standard...
And having been demonized a lot in my life, I had to ask myself, "So what happens to the VILLAIN once the story is over?"
