Really enjoyed this so far. I barely ever read fanfiction anymore, but this one caught my attention. It's a bit on the wordy side, but you make it work, and it stays consistent. Overall, I'd say that the prose helps set the story apart. The only criticism I'd give is that Fluttershy might be a little too brave. I can overlook it, as it allows the story to move forward and not linger on useless conflicts. Overall, I think this has the potential to be a great character piece.
Not much else to say here other than good work. I'm kind of hoping that the two characters can learn to appreciate one another without Chrysalis changing her ways and going through a full reformation. The fact that Fluttershy recognizes that her feeding method may be repugnant to ponies, but are normal to changelings is a nice touch, and very promising for the story's future.

I think it's good that Fluttershy realizes Chrysalis is indeed unrepentant and enjoys her villainy. That may change eventually, but for now she's dangerous and doesn't want to change.
But then, that's before she's spent any amount of time around Fluttershy. I look forward to the results.

Anyway, I don't know if Chrysalis is possible to reform. She seems rather more than a little psychotic, or as close to a character can get in a kiddie show. People like that tend not to get better, since the mental defect is either physiological or has become an engrained personality trait from habituation. Usually, such people will pretend to be 'better' and then slaughter their benefactors as soon as the opportunity presents itself.
Someone leading an invasion into a peaceful country for power and domination is clearly unhinged at least a bit!
