Plagiarism, perhaps. I recall reading a story a few years back with a plot which was extremely similar to that of One Last Flight (including the "alicorns go through the aging process and then revert" bit), although I can't seem to find it right now.

It would certainly explain the fact that this person submitted two stories on the same day they made their account, one of which made the featured box. The whole situation is eerily reminiscent of the last time I saw someone get banned for plagiarism, really.
