When Applejack is left with no options, she turns to Twilight for a spell that will keep her awake in order to finish her work. It works like a charm… until she realizes it doesn’t wear off. Slipping into madness, Applejack turns into a monster.
“Now you’re a reasonable pony ‘n all… you know if we don’t get the sales from the zap apples, we’ll be hurtin’ again in the winter months. Ah figured since yer gettin’ yer order so quickly, you wouldn’t mind us holdin’ onto a few jars…” Applejack said, trailing off.

Gotta say, I'm a bit put off by your portrayal of Filthy Rich, as he's been canonically shown to be a pretty decent stallion. Still, the story is promising so far, so I can for the most part ignore this ooc portrayal
