I know, I wanted to include Bob in the story, but if I added him then it just would have been bloated with all the characters.

Well, if you just gave Bob a few less lines, maybe removed Bob or gave Bob a chance to steer the story a bit, you could've added in Bob, Bob, heck, even bob, and you of all people should know how hard it is to write Bob into any given narrative!

'Tis a tragic tale, I doubt that their relationship can truly be salvaged at this point. Bob will have to flee into the arms of Bob, while Bob will undoubtedly catch Bob on the rebound. They'll both stop once in awhile to stare into empty space and think...what if I had worked things out and stayed with Bob? Sadly, it just wasn't meant to be.
