Hey everyone. This is the rewrite of my original displaced stories, which I'm hoping this improves on. Now a few of these characters aren't mine. Many belong to PyraBlue Heart. Hopefully you old fans out there will know which ones. I won't say here because it'll spoil things, but I will when they come up. Anyways, hope I can make a better story than what I first had.

The chapters switch from character to character. As you'll see in the AN, this is Gale's second chapter, which means it's taking place in his universe. All of the characters have yet to meet, so they live in their own universes for now, and all of their universes are at different points in time. That's why Alduin fought Tirek in the last chapter, and Gale began his fight with Discord. The next chapter will be about Lisa, as the pattern of characters follows the same order as the first six chapters until they all meet up!

No, different universes. None of them have met yet, but even when they do I'm going to keep this style. Keeps the story fresh, since, even though it's all first person, it focuses on one character.

The switch in POVs is to keep things fresh and interesting, showing multiple situations from different views. There is a constant pattern to who's chapter comes next, so hopefully that helps.

It makes no sense as to why you didn't just make six different stories for each character. It's already proven to be at different time periods, so why have them in the same story? I might as well just skip to the chapters that feature the one I like, but I shouldn't, because this shouldn't be one single story.

Writing them all as separate stories was getting tedious the first time I did it, especially since the situation would make no sense if one of the characters came into a battle mid fight unless you've read both stories. Wrtting them all separately also made it hard to keep them all on track, and I would also ignore some of my characters. This method is a way to help me ensure everything stays neat and orderly.

Though in a separate comment I did address why I've made them all into one story, I would like to say to this one that all of them share the same plot. It wouldn't make any sense to write six different books when they're all the same story.
I suppose I could structure it like this; say you're reading Alduin's stories, but then he encounters Gale. If you want o know who Gale is, you'll have to transfer over to his story and read everything up to that point, and about whoever he meets up with, to understand what's going on, and that was too much work for some readers, and it was far too messy in my opinion. Keeping them all in one story keeps everything orderly and structured, and that makes it easier for readers to stay with the plot.
