We rejoin our hero, Twilight Phoenix Sparkle, stronger, faster, and madder than ever, as she takes on the professional fighters league, 'The Ring'. That only means tougher brawlers from here on out, as she attempts to reach the top and fulfill her promise to Vinyl.
Will she triumph? Or will she forever be a remnant of Vinyl Scratch's shadow? As the number one fighter of the Crystal Empire, Regal (Octavia Melody), shows her that fighting is just as predictable as sheet music. And the elusive 'King' is supposedly there as well. Which leaves just two questions. What will Twilight do when she finds him? And will she ever forgive him?

I actually thought you guys would hate that I’m doing a in media res story again. I almost hate it, but if i didn’t do it this way we wouldn’t have an excuse to involve Thorax.

More like... (And don't take me too literally on this, but...) This is a more "realistic" Equestria. Emphasis on the quotations.
So, ponies weren't really going to risk having a dragon live among them, and really didn't count on that egg ever being hatched. So they put Spike with the other dragons of the world. Because, ya know. That's where he belongs.
Little Twilight was just happy to pass a test. Not making a dragon friend.

Current schedule for fanfic writing for me is 1. Finish Twilight of Iron Act 1.
And 2. Continue work on Symphony of Combat.
But in November, i’m going to start work on a Contest Story, which’ll most likely put SOC on hiatus again, but will return as soon as December hits.

1. I’ve lost contact with my main cover artist.
And 2. I don’t feel like writing Fan Fiction is going to help me progress as a writer anymore.
Those are the main reasons. There is a part of me that wants to come back and finish these stories, but as it stands I barely consider myself a Brony anymore, and I’m trying to put most of my effort into a publishable piece of work.

Sorry, FDHF is like my baby.
So even I don’t come back to it, I’d like it to remain as I envisioned it to be, even if parts 2&3 will never be written.
But that doesn’t mean you can’t write your own MLP combat story, just, I’d rather you come up with your own plot line and characters.
Because to me, I’m not writing about Twilight Sparkle, I’m writing about Twilight Phoenix Sparkle.
Same with all of the others with their own unique surname and or middle name.
I wish you the best of luck, but I can’t give you permission, since I also might take the plot and strip it of any MLP related stuff for a different story.
