Troublesome Beast

I don't know, man. Those weasels were on fire when I got here.

Is this in any way associated with the huntingverse?

Yep. Same verse. This is mostly griffon-territory, though Bulk is just on loan for the moment. It'll be something of an LDR until he can train up a replacement guard captain for Fluttershy, but since she pushed for this, she's helping it work out.

Combat sex, huh? I may look at it. I'm a fan of "aggressive love"

Hot, awesome, and loving! Just what I was looking forward to.

8306687
Woot! Now I can go back to whimpering for someone to edit Hunting Season. -.-;;

Chapters 2 and 3 are for you, then, though two is more setup and three is the sticky. But the sticky doesn't work without setup, IMO.

My circular shaped tuit collection has been barren, of late. But, when I get a round tuit, I'll let you know.

kink leaning towards the S&M side

Colour me intrigued...

What is the Huntingverse?

I call it the hyperverse, but given it's like me and one other author writing anything there, it's probably a bit arrogant of me to claim the genre. All of my stories except Craved Bird are set in my own little persistent take on Equestria; it's anthro, with a large minority (~1/4) of ponies being up to half again as tall and significantly more muscular than the standard pony, with larger sexual characteristics -- not just huge tits and dicks, but exaggerated hips and asses, thigh-shapes, upper-bodies, etc. It's basically a place for both the sort of adventures and kink I enjoy to happen, with the show's Equestria as a framework/broad strokes model.

It will be a bit of a build up to that, but Gilda likes it rough, and Bulk is more than willing to accommodate her terms.

Once again, I loved it! Gilda's thoughtstream is wonderful to wade in, and I look forward to more.

Just got to get that edited, too. But it's shorter than most (if longer than Ch1)

For the love of god don't stop.

I have chapters 3, 4, 5 and the epilogue complete. Just have to get them edited, and they're short compared to my usual work, so it shouldn't take too long.

Four chapters in and I just now get the pun in the title.

I am a terrible, terrible pundit of a beast.

The one thing that I have a question about is whether griffons lay eggs or do live birth? Either way, please say you're going to go into detail about that as well! Still loving the interplay between these two.

8325586
Live birth, and afraid not; the actual process of birth doesn't really appeal to me as much as pregnancy and having kids does. Still, we will once again see Gilda further along in the epilogue... two chapters to go!

8325815
Two words; orgasmic birth. I thought that it would be in your wheelhouse, at least.

8325846
'Fraid not. Everyone has their odd points; I'm fairly settled by this point in mine.

8325860
Awww, man! Oh well, still excellent storytelling, thanks.

8325969
And thank you for your enthusiasm!

Goddamn, Ive never seen anything written in a style like this, porn or otherwise. I cant quite put my finger on it but holy crap is it one hell of a read

8326507
Thank you. I don't really have words to express how grateful I am for the compliment, so all I can go with is: thank you, so very, very much.

(One of my friends calls it 'Porn, as written by Hunter S. Thompson')

:twilightblush: Whew! After that scene, I think I need to jump into a boiling pot of water, just to cool down! Well done, TB!

8335543
Thank you! I hope you've enjoyed the ride.

What if Spike and Cheerilee......

8337517
Barb, in this world, rather than Spike, I'm afraid. And she's still rather fixed on Rarity with ambivalent feelings involving Twilight and Ember. Cheerilee does deserve some happiness, since I married Mac off in a different direction, though. I should try to think about that-- thanks!

8337653
There's rarely any fics about those two.

8337688
The pairing I can't provide, but Cheerilee certainly deserves consideration!

8337144
It's been utterly magnificent, and I am sad to see that this iteration has wound to a close, but I loved every moment! Hoping to see more of these two in future works, and a final set of questions; do hippogriffs get cutie marks, and also, what blessings, if any, from The Flyer are granted to them?

8339108
(1) I'm deferring on that one until after the movie comes out.
(2) In general, they will be bigger than ponies but smaller than the largest griffons. These being Gilda's children, they'll probably cluster around eleven feet tall. They'll cluster somewhere between griffons and ponies; easier time learning weather magic but not as instinctive as it is for a pegasus; need more work to contain their native savagery once it's released, but have an easier time stopping it from popping up, etc.

The x-factor here is that Fluttershy basically supercharged Bulk's fertility by a direct, open connection to Life. Hence the fact that an ordinarily really, really difficult thing suddenly was Lots Of Babies. Cross-species hybrids usually require the active participation of a priest, mage, and/or alchemist in some manner, enchanting both parties before conception, carefully maintaining fertility treatments through the early stages of fetal development up to and possibly inclusive of late-late-late stage development and ensouling (My fanon states that no fetus has a soul until it would be viable away from the mother, because otherwise... yeah, I don't want to dwell on that too long), and probably include repeated checkups after birth to make sure that the child's native magic handles their further biological impossibility.

I mean, griffons are six-limbed vertebrates. Who fly. There's already some wonky there.

Anyway, Flutters is literally life. And necromancy, developing into death, but that is not a fact she employed here. She wants babies to spoil and for Bulk and Gilda to be happy. She tapped into magic that none of the other alicorns, including Luna and Celestia, really understand, and hyper-energized Bulk's genative organs. So the whole process is going to require a lot less maintenance than usual; it is currently harder for it to go wrong even conventionally than it is for it to go right.

As a result, the hippogryphlets will be abnormal even for the standards of their particular brand of hybrid, even for being the children of two large strains (even non-hypers in Bulk's family are big for ponies on both sides of his parentage; ditto Gilda and griffons). As for what the Flyer's doing?

Laughing.

Waiting.

Pushing things around to see what will get the best results.

The fact that Gilda is an exemplary priestess of the Flyer after her association with ponies should really be the biggest clue what the God of Discipline and Savagery is really like.
