Based on Letters from an Irritated Princess by Tired Old Man, written in the same format, with the same sort of thing going on more or less, but, with said letters written by the Evil Empress, Daybreaker herself, instead of her goody-goody counterpart. Permission for this was given to me by Tired Old Man himself!
Ah, letters. To some, letters are a means for friendly, long distance communication. To others, they are a way of informing you that you are late on your monthly payment. But, for Empress Daybreaker? Well, they're a way of expressing displeasure, annoyance, evil amusement, ransom demands, and other things.
Basically, they're for making her subjects twitch in fear. Lots of fear. Whether it be of her wrath, or the horrors her evil mischieviousness will bring to her subjects.

This is surprisingly funny especially the fact that Nightmare Moon's attempts at usurping her sister are an actual game. When you get to Discord they're probably going to say that he's the most insane of everyone.

Daybreaker seems to expect Twilight to show everypony how great the empress student is.
While I enjoy this story, there are two things I can't help nitpicking.
One is that, despite Daybreaker having been an evil god-empress for millennia, Equestria seems more or less the same.
The second is that events are still basically happening as they did in canon. I guess I would have expected more changes or something?

I will promise that, for at least a few more future episode chapters down the line, things aren't going to happen exactly as they did in the show, and, that there may be a point where I start having more and more chapters be at least somewhat different from how the episodes happened in the show.

I know it's a ways off I'm curious what Magical Mystery Cure will be like in their reality, would Twilight become Midnight Sparkle? Heck I could see Nightmare Rarity and Flutterbat not being undone here, or Day breaker being proud of Sunset Shimmer 's evil plan.

That being said, do expect a corrupted variant of somekind for Twi in the future, as well as Daybreaker's approval of Sunset's ambitions, even if she considers the attempt made with demonized Snips and Snails and the Hypnotized Teenagers not to be the best plan Sunset could have come up with.

Could easily see Nightmare somehow being please with something Rarity did for her and "rewarding" her accordingly.
And yea Daybreaker would approve Sunset's intentions but likely rub it in that Twilight was stronger.
Heh, even evil has loved ones it seems... Evil or not, those two are sisters and they'll stay that way. Though honestly, considering Nightmare hasn't done any really evil acts, it's hard for me to think of her as such. Maybe Daybreaker is delusional. (Wouldn't surprise me.)
It's not so strange that Daybreaker has dated dragons given her firey nature. She does really care for her sister and Nightmare clearly feels the same.

It was not very smart of Twilight to jump to conclusions. Daybreaker is right in te fact that Twilight needs to educate town on things like zebras. I doubt that Daybreaker is pals with Mayor Mare in the way Celestia is in Letters from an irritated princess.
Daybreaker and Zecora? ...Okay, I can honestly say I did not see that one coming.
(Still, it's sweet that Daybreaker is going to try and find her sister somepony.)
