7970704 I'm not sure, it's just this was the only picture I could find with a reunion theme and most of my characters.
Even though I've never really seen anything of Ponytales other than the opening theme, I still enjoyed this rather grounded, slice-of-life piece. It puts the stories of the previous generation into view as kind of a training ground for the more world-shaking events of G4 through the filter of high school shenanigans.
I noticed a lot of the stallions were former high school athletes with attitude problems who got turned around by the love of a good mare. I wonder if any of these couples are friends with Buck Withers and Lemony Gems?
I do wonder why you chose to have 2 Bon Bons, instead of just making the Pontales and FiM Bon Bons the same character. I mean, they do look pretty similar.

And it's likely Ace and Buck know each other, given both are athletes, and may have met at some point because of it.
As for why two Bon Bons:
1) It let me make the joker of Lyra getting the two of them mixed up.
And 2): Canonically G4 Bon Bon's real name isn't Bon Bon, it's Sweetie Drops, and she's was of course a secret agent at some point. I could see PATCH as a secret agent, but it isn't really something I could see Tales Bon Bon doing, as her big dream in Tales was to be a model, and she had a MAJOR crisis of conscience any time she did something morally wrong, to the point she broke down crying over cheating on a math test. I don't view Tales Bon Bon as being ABLE to keep the secret from Lyra for as long as G4 Bon Bon did due to her conscience hitting her hard for comparably minor things.

7974410 I thought you lent more towards the additional Bon Bon being a changling, but there are enough Bon Bons to go around. (In sharp contrast to actual bon bons, where I always seem to run out too soon.)

Wow! Congratulation for this awesome fanfiction. I'm a still a huge My little pony fan even after this many years since when I was infected with the beauties of the MLP fandom wich was 2 years before the bronies arrived into the fandom or stepped out from the shadow if they were here already.
Anyway I really loved the two Bon Bon joke oh and that part of the story with Teddy and Big Mac was awesome too.
In my headcanon Clover ended to be famous as a synchronized swimmer.
Oh and I really love Teddy from the beginning and I believe that Teddy came from an abusive family even we couldn't see his parents but his mother's sound didn't seemed to be friendly to me, than there is mystery of why Teddy feared from the water when he could swim. I belive there was some kind of traumatic event from the past.
