The Son Of A Mastermind

As the power of the crystal ponies destroyed whatever was left of King Sombra once and for all, he had said a prayer to his son, Prince Darko. He said, "My son, promise me that you will never give up in trying to take over the Empire." Darko was a handsome alicorn, but many crystal ponies had feared him. He had a messy red and gray mane and tail. His eyes were red, just like his fathers', and he had very sharp fangs, also he's the picture of the alicorn on the cover. After he herd what his father had to say, he kept his promise.

Four years later, in Canterlot, Princess Celestia had been taking her peaceful nap on her throne room, until she had been awoken by her favorite royal guard, Flash Sentry barging through the princess's chamber. "Your majesty, I have urgent news!" Flash alerted.

"What is it, Flash Sentry?" Celestia asked with a concerned look on her face.

"Do you remember the tale about King Sombra?" The guard asked while gasping for air.

"Yes I do. Why do you ask?" Celestia answered, still worried.

"I had just found out that he had a son" Flashed had informed.

Celestia had gasped and sat up on her throne "What?! That just can't be possible!" She yelled nervously.

"Do you want me to inform Twilight and her friends?" The orange pegasus asked.

"No, I'll do it myself, now leave me in peace." Celestia answered.

"As you wish, your majesty." Flash answered while exiting the room.

As Flash flew out of sight, the princess of the sun immediately grabbed a piece of paper and a quill and wrote a letter to her faithful student that had stated:

Dear Twilight Sparkle,

I have just received word that King Sombra, the former ruler of the Crystal Empire, has had a son that we have had no memory about. I want you and your friends to find as much info about this foe of ours. Good luck to you and your friends.

Princess Celestia

This is my first fimfiction and I really hope that you enjoy it. Also, I'm going to be slow on producing more new chapters, so please bear with me.

Interesting Fact: The acorn is not only supposed to be Darko, but he's also my OC. His original name is Shadow Supreme. Pretty cool, huh?
