Sorry y'all don't like the ship choices, but this was a commission. I was paid to write this with these characters, and they're not my personal favorite ships (though I'm obviously OK with them). As for you, Raibolt, it is supposed to be 7. The twins was a last minute change at the request of the commissioner. Fixed.

Actually, if anything, besides the foals' choices themselves, it was the parents' faults. It's ultimately a parent's responsibility to educate their children in sexual matters or in anything for that matter, not teachers or society.

8202102 I'm happy you enjoyed reading! The names and apperences were actually chosen by the commissioner. I was going to name Sweetie and Button's foal (wasn't twins in my initial version) Start Button. Also had a name for Apple and Tender's foal, but can't remember it now.
Just finished reading, and I really liked it.
On a side note, a sequel with part of it explaining why Scoots was outside the CMC tree house and her going to Rumble, as she is in heat, too. Gets pregnant and has a pegasus filly. And, so, in a third story, Sweetie's twins, Scoots' filly and AB's colt, all 4 mess around with each other, and the fillies up pregnant, too..

8203452 I do like the pairing, personally, despite there indeed being a couple other options for her as well. Featherweight may also work. All and all, there really aren't that many well-known, named Pegasus colts in Ponyville to pair her with, if them both being Pegasi matters to anyone.
I'm not sure I agree with Rarity being the type who'd advocate for abortion, I don't think she'd do that but that's just me.
8203820 Spring Estrus Break is when they were in heat at first. Earth's equine's breeding cycles means that mares go into heat monthly between spring through autumn if I remember correctly, and that's what I base the show's ponies on. So, monthly, ponies have an 'estrus week', as most mares are cycled the same since they're basically just a giant herd, and...do stuff.
Estrus breaks are given when their cycles are at their most intense during the start of each season.
Also, mares can self-abort at will at any time during a pregnancy. Cuz nature.

8203832 Huh? I did not know that. I wasn't aware equines had that ability, I knew it was a thing some animals can do but I didn't realize horses were one of them. Not sure if that makes abortion more or less controvesial though? in a modern civilized country like Equestria there would be little reason to ever abort, especially if adoption is a thing, which it probably is.
Still don't think Rarity would support that choice though.

Honestly, I would have rather seen Sweetie with another unicorn (even if it had been *starts to vomit as I'm typing this* Snips or Snails *vomit for a second time and a third time*). Yet, if Sweetie was to be with Button, then I would have preferred for Bloom to have been with a pegasus, and then I would bend have Scoots with a unicorn. Cause genetics.

No, this is not legally 'pedophilia' or 'child porn' because it does not involve depictions of real-life human minors or anthro characters, which would be a defining factor, and you sure as hell won't go to jail for reading it (unless you somehow use it as inspiration to rape an actual child irl or something equally as ridiculous, in which case I think reading this would be the least of your worries). Besides, as far as I remember, legal courts dictated that minor-aged furry characters (including MLP characters) NOT based on real-life subjects is not considered child pornography, so therefore even anthro minor porn is technically legal as far as I know (but don't hold me to that!).
If you choose not to read this on a moral level, something like 'that youth should be innocent and sacred' for example, that's up to you to decide. This story's content is 100% legal though (at least in the USA), and is also well within the site rules too. Do you really think I'd be writing this if I could end up going to jail for it? Hell nah. This story's sure as hell not the first one on the site like it, and it won't be the last.
If you don't like young-on-young pony porn/erotica (aka foalcon), you may be better off reading another of my stories not containing it, or possibly another author altogether.
