Trixie reminded me of the Looney Tunes short, "The High and the Flighty." Where Daffy takes advantage of Foghorn Leghorn and the dog by selling them both prank items. Was that an influence on this story at all?

Yeah, that was a bit of inspiration for this. Grew up on Looney Tunes so they are a big inspiration to my comedy fics. I just couldn't recall the episode name.

Yeah, I was a big Looney Tunes fan growing up. My dad had a real love of those old cartoons - Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, and others - so I had a real thorough education in the zany cartoons of the past XD (Though I did have to look up the title of the cartoon)
