When you decide to go to the annual Hooftoberfest you never really know the number of fascinating ponies you'll meet while you enjoy the festivities. None of that really matters to ex-Wonderbolt cadet Lightning Dust who's there to try and forget the fiasco that was Wonderbolt training camp. A new name, new look and even new cutie mark. She's gone the whole nine yards to put her past behind her. Unfortunately for her, she's woefully out of bits. Never one for taking a handout, she butts heads with a pony that she thinks is just one more drunken loser out to drink there problems away.

This had some tense issues (mixing past & present), but I like the overall thrust of the story. I hadn't thought to put these two together but I think it's a combination that works.
