A few things, 1) -kun is a male honorific you don't refer to a woman with that, only younger men 2)-chan is female unless its a very non sexual intimate relationship ex onii-chan for Big Brother, 3) if Cheeriler was going to work the fansty she would have only said Sensei exspet at the start and she would have call Big Mac, Apple-sensei...

Actually, -kun can be used for girls, it's just not very common in informal situations. Cases when -kun is generally used with a girl's name is when a person of senior status refers to a person of junior status. For example, a company CEO would call a female desk worker "Name"-kun.
But you are right in that this story doesn't use it correctly.

As for the honorifics and their uses, those are published with in the first four pages of any manga translated into English you can find at a Barns&Noble or other large disruptors of books
