Loved it. The dialogue between Applejack and Rainbow Dash was perfect
I always have a problem with making dialogues feel natural, but you managed to do it and portrayed their characters perfectly.
Also, it would be great to read a sequel
That was a fun story, and I like the characterization of Scootaloo.
Although I'm almost disappointed we didn't get to see Apple Bloom's reaction. I'd almost want to see a bonus chapter where - outside of school - Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle walk in on Scootaloo watching the video again and we get non-school-newspaper related reactions.
I expected Scoots to save a copy of it, something like that is hard to pass up.

I'll be honest... I'm not a big Fan of any Lesbian-ships involving Rainbow (Just because she is a Tomboy with a rainbowcoloered Mane doesn't mean she's a Lesbian)
Like the AnY Pony said in his Shipping-Video: It would be so shocking for all the concerned Parents (or something... can't go and watch the Video now) if the so-called Lesbian turns out to be Straight and Rarity and/or Fluttershy, the more feminine Ones are the Lesbians... I actually ship those two... but with Flutters being the Lesbian and Rarity being bi (so that Spike still has a Chance with her... humanized or anthronized of course... no Doggy-love).
Also another Thing I don't like (which thankfuly gets averted in the End is the planned "Rainbow Dash is Awesome"-Article... seriously she doesn't need more of an Ego-boost *cough* Pinkie Pried *cough*

The story was fun, short but sweet. I thought it was a bit different from your usual style, but I can't quite pinpoint what. Maybe because it's only lesbian, or maybe because I can't remember you ever writing Rainbow Dash before?

I know right? They probably didn't even read the story before mouthing off. I understand that not everyone likes clop or AppleDash, but to downvote or bash a story because of a particular pairing or genre without reading it is just dumb to me. However, if you read it and didn't like it that's a different story. Just my two cents.

Like I said, if you read the story and didn't like certian parts, that's fine, but you at least read it.. And I agree with you, AppleDash isn't my cup of tea either, but if it's written well enough, I can look past what I don't like and enjoy the story. Take Ranko's story, 'The Family That Plays Together, Lays Together'. Now I don't like futa, but she wrote that story and scene so well that I actually enjoyed the hell out of it, and I reread that story when I have time. Point is I gave it a chance, and I liked it, just like with this story.

Probably because Rainbow and Applejack's exchange is more on the romantic side? My usual stuff has more comedy and crazy casual sex in it, rather than actual couples as in this case.

Personally I'm not an AppleDash shipper either. I probably would have never written them as a couple, if it hadn't been a commission. That probably is the main reason for the mixed reaction. It's been done to death, and there's nothing particularly new or fresh about my take on it.
I don't really mind the negative comments. It's just that 'I hate clop' or 'Not another AppleDash fic' isn't really helpful. It's not constructive criticism, so it doesn't help me improve in any way.
Well, looks like at least those who do like AppleDash, or are neutral on the matter, enjoyed it. Plus, I finally had an excuse to use my favorite piece of pony-related art for a cover.
So I'm still gonna put this one in the win column.

Well there would be still the Option to not release is or not naming the Commissioner (by his/her Request)... not because the Story is bad, but because he/she wants all of it for him/herself
For example my good Friend Jadenkaiba on Deviantart did a Commission on a Naruto-Hentai. Only the first Pages got released... the Rest was Private (talk about trolling)

I honestly enjoyed the story, even though I actively dislike the ship (in my personal opinion, while RD an AJ make great friends and friendly rivals, if they actually tried to be a couple they'd drive each other insane because they're both too stubborn. That and Rainbow has her over the top ambition whereas AJ's only ambition is to stay right where she is and be happy. That wouldn't mesh well).
The sex part was hot and well written, and they both felt in character. However, I felt myself more drawn to the interactions between the CMC and their impressions of what happened. That was of much more interest to me, and also done quite well.
