Princess Luna vanished during the siege against Canterlot. She watched from her crystal ball as Celestia was defeated, only for the magic of love to drive the changelings out of Canterlot. While the changelings suffered from their loss, Luna went to Chrysalis to offer her a gift she couldn't refuse.

That was really good. It also goes in line with one of my theories that Luna and Chrysalis were old friends before Luna became Nightmare Moon.

7549547 I'm not sure how popular they theory is so I'm not sure how much about it you'll find about it, But I can hammer it out for you, at least my theory about it any way. I also have a few ideas that might make a good story or two, Ive been kicking them around, but honestly I'll never get around to writing them.
