He should name the Left one "King" and the Right One "Queen" and if together it should be called "One True Overlord"
The story feels a little rushed. No explanations given to 'Ladon', he simply trusts the old dragon? A stallion being able to outsmart two alicorns? Fluttershy not even wondering if it's okay to make Twilight forget a 'imagined friend'? So many questions, but the story rushes on and on. The training part seems nicely done, although I would have expected to see some 'Claw-action' from Spike and the old dragon before they start learning weapons.
Also, Spike should be a little more critical at being ignored with certain questions.
Meanwhile, Twilight Sparkle has proof of Spike - the friendship letters definitely mentioned him once in a while, didn't they? Or even if they didn't, shouldn't there be records of the seemingly only pony-friendly dragon in all of Equestria?
Ah well, setting these points aside, I will continue reading this story. In fact, I'm looking forward to seeing your next chapter
