After being attacked by a strange being in the dead of night, a young unicorn mare named Page-Turner finds herself transformed into a loathsome, terrifying creature with an uncontrollable need to drink the blood of others through horrific means. Frightened by her sudden change in both body and nature, she flees from pony society but tries her hardest to remain a part of it in the process.
As her attempts to cope and adapt to her new lifestyle sour and wither with every passing day, she finds herself being hunted by those that wish to see her destroyed. With little choice to begin with, the only goal to dominate her mind soon becomes survival.

This looks great so far, and the air of mystery that you gave the two figures really makes me want to read more... However, it seems as though you are trying to make the reader unaware of what they are yet the description spoils that by saying that she has a hunger for blood, but other than that it looks great!

Interesting, the "Involuntary monster" plot, rare to see in stories nowadays. For one who's been turned, did the noble choice to flee and suffer the cruel burn of hunger, but will still be forced to face death from uncaring hunters. I shall see where you'll take this story, will she indulge in her hunger and become what her killers always believe she was or become another notch on a hunter's blade.

Always nice to see a vampire story where the vampires aren't just obnoxiously powerful and maintain even a semblance of genuinely monstrous characteristics. Though I suppose you're going with a romainian shrieker and some don't consider them as in the same category as the more "classic" bloodsuckers.
7381379 What I'm going for in my 'vampires' isn't the more classic and modern-day romanticized/misunderstood and super strong demigods/sparkly wusses. What I aim to make is a mixture of Guillermo del Toro's eldritch, repulsive, cursed take on vampire's appearance and methods of feeding (Blade II's 'Reapers', and The Strain's 'Strigoi'), and the mannerisms and weakness/strengths of European mythology's vampires, especially the legends and tales originating in Romania. (Strigoi, Moroi, Mullo).
