Hope Sunset rerveals her distress more, holding it in not helping she still resents them and has trouble trusting them.
What they did really urt her, and hope there was a good punishment given to the CMC, think thinsg will be tense with Sunset and them.
I'll admit I was a bit cautious with this one. Usually first attempts aren't that great and it seems like a pretty far stretch for a crossover.
Yet you managed to positively surprise me. Your writing is good and small errors didn't break my emerson. You seemed to handle the characters well and I'm curious were this thing goes.
Anyway, definitely worth a comment, a thumbs up and keeping track of. I'm going to read the second chapter later but so far it's quite good.

After all of it. It's 20 years after the end of mass effect three.
So I started reading this... and I'm having a hard time suspending disbelief for a few things. This chapter is nice on many levels, but it doesn't reflect the level of tech that 20 years after ME3 would have. Text messages? Phones? Doesn't fit.
Okay, so I'm ignoring my gut instinct to question everything—this is after all a crossover and plenty of concessions are reasonable, even if they are a bit too convenient. However...
Who is this and what did she do to the real Liara? Why would Dr. Liara T'Soni aka The Shadowbroker, who deals in facts, figures and empirical evidence say that?
Feels like the characterization is a bit too simplistic... everyone is rolling with "it's magic!" rather than expressing any real concern or doubt. I like the "Anderson did this for me" approach, but Shepard seems a bit too eager to adopt Sunset.
Alright, this chapter is me out. Doesn't mean it's bad, before you think that, it just feels too easy and too OOC in general for my taste. Still, to each their own, so good luck with your story!

Thanks for the comments. I definitely take what you said into consideration. Probably won't change much in the chapters I've written but I'll try and add more disbelief in the next chapters. As for the tech you mentioned, I know trying to fit these two worlds together is difficult especially with both of them having established tech. Again thanks for the views.
8393337 If it helps, here's my two cents: you're already Alt-universe-ing EqG. Their technology could reflect ME without taking away from the rest of the story, which seems to be more character-focused for now. Since they're in the future, you might as well upgrade their technology, the girl's personalities can remain the same without a problem.

Interesting story so far, Though I'm left wondering how the Reaper War ended in a way that left Shep still breathing. I hope it wasn't the "Destroy" ending (the one with the after credits clip of an N7 chest-piece and the sound of someone taking a breath) and instead you do something AU, because I like EDI's character and how she evolves too much to kill her off, plus it makes reuniting the Quarians and Geth (which is the option I always go for) a bit pointless. Maybe at some point put in a Codex entry covering a summary of the Reaper conflict and how it ended?d

So, EDI being "dead" means the Normandy SR2 got blown up at some point, seeing as her neural core was hard-pointed behind the med-bay, because if the Normandy is still around but she isn't it would mean she got murdered, which would be... problematic... (in the immortal words of Mordin Solus, may he rest in peace.)
