I'm working on this story as we speak. Here is the formula: It is s first person POV. Every two chapters is one act. One chapter is written in Fluttershy's point of view, the other chapter is in Pinkie's point of view and they both revolve around the same general theme. I will update this as often as I can. I hope you enjoy it!
Also this is my first fiction so critiques are greatly appreciated!
Update: I need a break, I'm running out of ideas and I need some time to get back to this, I have a different story I want to write that I was asked to write so I will work on this when it's done.

I look forward to seeing how this all plays out, and I completely understand that you want to take a step back from the story. It can be a big help. A little sadness can be a nice touch, and I think it'll give the story a bit more depth. The best part is that the sadness can come from anywhere, one of them could be slow to react resulting in the other confusing to see it as rejection, some or all of their friends don't agree, part of the community don't agree, Celestia doesn't agree, or one of them gets too attached and smothers the other with attention.
I know it'll be fun to read when it's ready.
