7098319 Thank you. It was just a little idea I had when I started and then it became a 6000 word story. Funny how that happens. For the forseeable future I shall be continuing this trend until I run out of ideas basically. Slice of Life Oneshots, focusing on Starlight for now given what I could glean from the season 5 2-parters and the Season 6 opener. Regardless, thank you very much for the kind comment.

7110883 I have several Starlight stories planned. Next one should be up hopefully by Monday. Not all of them involve just her and Spike. Though I would not be surprised if he ends up showing up rather often. My stories tend to take some life of their own and he just works so well with her. The premise is simply little Slice of Life stories involving Starlight, but where they go even I won't really know. I have an idea, a beginning and an end goal but the journey is the fun part. and hey maybe you could write little stories about what she is doing with characters while she ISN'T in an episode of season 6,?
a kinda of "fill the blank" stories, for example, while rarity and pinkie are in manehattan, in episode 3 maybe write a story about starlight and what she is doing while they are away?
like maybe getting to know fluttershy or applejack, or heck just have her fix a problem in ponyville like twilight had to in the earlier seasons?

7124096 That's pretty much what I'm doing. Every week I'll be writing a new Starlight fiction about something or another. I already finished one and am in the process of writing a third. The first two, including this one are kind of Starlight settling in stories. The third one is kind of a fun story with Sunset Shimmer (Reformed overpowered unicorns unite) to get away from the weight of the second one, which turned out much more emotional than I intended. Afterwards I do want to go into more adventures with Starlight and the rest of the mane 6 but for now I do think most of her interaction would be with Twilight and Spike, though Pinkie Pie features prominently in my latest upload. When we see more of her in the season I will expand with the new information.
Though I like the idea about writing about what she was doing while other episodes went on I have a few ideas I want to get out first. Heh, I dunno. I really like the idea of a weekly project with what Starlight is doing when the episodes aren't featuring her. I'll give it some thought and maybe shift some of my ideas around so that the less episodic ones fall on weeks where she does star in an episode. Definitely food for thought indeed.

I am glad you enjoyed and thank you for the kind comment. It's comments like this that allowed me to pass the 50,000 word mark on this character alone, with a lot more to come. I love Starlight, she's so fascinating to me. A good blend of a semi blank slate but with a strongly established set of characteristics already. Plus she's adorable as can be in the show as well.
