Well that's quite lovely. It's pretty clear to me what the ending would be halfway through, but the writing's still very enjoyable and the way you wrote the character's really believable, very much like the way they'd act in the show. 'Tis a good slice of life. I like it.

In regards to the story's contents, I can't say I didn't see the ending happening about halfway through. But I still really enjoyed it. I feel the emotional weight would have hit a lot harder had the story been longer, but again, it was really good. So, you know, great job mate!

Admittedly, I kind of predicted Starlight had written it, but I didn't expect her to actually take credit for it. It was really sweet, and felt perfectly in tone with an MLP episode :) Also, I love the automatic rule in the castle that every book belongs to Twilight; domestic friendship castle life is one of my favourite things in fanfiction!

Haha! I could definitely see Twilight really wanting to read something Starlight wrote, and Starlight feeling uneasy about sharing it. Once the hesitations subsided though, it would be fun to see them bond more as friends because of a shared interest like that.

Admittedly, that is often the case with assumptions. But the majority of the books in the castle definitely belong to Twilight. Percentage-wise, one could argue that the facts were in his favor.
My man, I like your style: it isn't (what we could call) irritably elaborate, as many are, but simple and effective, not saying too little but no more than it needs to. Good pacing again as a result and more good use of language. I did see where the story was going, but so what, you took me there very nicely. As I commented on your other story, it's pretty tough to pull off 1000-word one-shots on account of how little space you have to say anything and get it to come across as meaningful; you managed pretty well once again! And to top it off, you've been quite prolific of late, no? Recently, I've scrolled past a few of your stories, I think, and now, it seems, I'm reading them, hehe. You're doing great, bud. Pleasant little SoLs everyone can enjoy – never a bad formula. Take my follow.
